I’m sorry to say this, but I think you forgot Occitan didn’t spread into Catalonia until the reconquista Also there would’ve been 2 languages after Vulgar Latin in Italy: gallo italic , and italo Dalmatian,

The Italian dialects are split to north and south, the southern group is part of the italo dalmatian group and gallo italic is part of the northern dialects as a dialect continuum with french

You forgot to move the language frontier in northern France northwards over time. In case of most of Wallonia, it should already have had French dialects in the Early Middle Ages. There was barely any Dutch over there. Only along the modern language frontier (and a dozen km southwards), there are areas in Wallonia that would have had a Dutch-Germanic dialect in the Late Middle Ages and (in some small cases) the Early Modern Period.

For romanian language: you marked only north of Basarabia (Moldavia)

The colors make it seem like there's Aragonese in Catalunya, while in fact there's Catalan in Aragó. Also, if colors reflect similarity, Catalan and Occitan should have more similar colors: Catalan should definitely have a more similar color to Occitan than to Spanish, and Occitan should have a more similar color to Catalan than to French. Also, you forgot the city of Alguer in Sardenya where they speak Catalan, and I think some parts of the Piedmont where they speak a dialect of Occitan. In that sense, I would have liked a map with more defined lines, even if in reality the separation between dialects is often a blurry, gradual change.

@@empat8052 I read some British Enciclopedia. It says that romanian developed on both sores of danube from latin speaking thrachian/dacian populations. So, what are you saying?
