@@OnceUponAnIsland I agree. I don't count "incorrect" votes that were part of a successful vote split or had an even better strategic purpose than just voting with the majority. JT's vote for Erinn to secure Coach's jury vote is perhaps the best example of this. Voting "correctly" in that case would actually be a negative for JT, as it could potentially put Coach's jury vote in jeopardy. There really is very little that I can criticize about JT's game.

I'm glad you pointed Sandra's near perfect game, one vote and she would have been the first in Season 7. Many fans like to bash her because they're salty about HvV but Sandra worked hard for her wins, even if she's not as flashy as other fan favorites. Also note how Sandra agreed or directly orchestrated JT's vote outs at HvV and Game Changers, the first person to play a perfect game.

She shouldn't have won HvV. It's not a discredit on her game. She's still one of the best survivors of all time. Her game on Pearl islands had equal weight socially that it did strategically. When Rupert was voted out she showed how adept she is at shifting the target and even leveraging information. HvV should have been Parvati quite simply. On the basis of immunity wins, strategic prowess and tbh I find it hard to believe her social game was weak. It's Parvati. The Russell factor is what distorted everything unfairly. Sandra is ultimately an unsatisfying victor

@@gamingwithjay3 listen. I have massive respect for Sandra but we need stop dressing up her HvV win. The Hero tribe was massively flawed as a collective, they were high on their own supply. Sandra provided very little strategic value, did not win challenges and ladies agency for the post-merge portion of the game. She coasted by on the basis of being a 'non-threat' in Russell's eyes. Her performance in HvV is far opposed to her Pearl Islands game where she was very much in the driving seat and had her own agency whilst showing her ingenious style that we all love. I won't take her win away from her because frankly I can't but it's not very high up to me on the totem pole because I think the jury actually were so flawed in the way they judged. Parv should've been the winner if we are quite honest since Russell was a kamikaze. They both played better games than Sandra. I wish Jerri actually went to the end and won because at least she would've have been a much more satisfying winner. Sandra still is one of my favourite players and characters but let's be real

Tony went into his last FTC with no votes against him. There are four jury votes he doesn’t receive, all of which come with caveats. He probably gets Jeremy if Natalie’s not a finalist. Maybe Tyson too, though he had antagonized Tyson earlier, so maybe not. Ethan and Parvati were premerge boots with whom he’d never had a chance to interact, so it all gets murky. And here’s another question: If the final immunity winner puts you in the fire making challenge, does that still count as no votes? I kind of see Earl Cole as a perfect game even though technically Rita voted against him. She only did that because she couldn’t vote for Sylvia or Anthony as she was in an alliance with them and knew there was no chance that Earl was going home. She liked Earl and didn’t want to see him voted out. Earl was on the right side of every vote, essentially had no one who wanted to vote him out, controlled the game, and got all the votes at the end. That’s an impressive game even if he didn’t actually get a perfect game on account of one vote that wasn’t intended to vote him out. The perfect game is a cool statistic, but it’s not the end all be all of the game. I think Jeremy played a solid game in Cambodia and those three votes at the F6 Tribal that he idoled out don’t take anything away from his game in my opinion (although if we want to be technical those idoled out votes don’t count 😜) Although it would be cool if Jeremy actually had the perfect game status, but I’ll take an asterisk. Still counts!

I really expected Stephen to put together a better final tribal performance. He should've leaned more into the idea that he didn't have the natural charm and skills that JT did, meaning he had to work harder to get to the position he's in than JT did - instead he brings it up but doesn't bring it full-circle making him look like he didn't really know what he was doing. Using JT's football logic, winning survivor would be based on your ability to build a fire or shelter, which we all know isn't the case. If Stephen had portrayed the relationship like JT was the quarterback of the team but Stephen was the coach (which it pretty much was), he would've at least picked up a vote or 2.

I liked Mikes game, other than the auction blunder. But it went to show how crucial it is to eliminate challenge threats. He had bad challenge competition, so was able to steamroll through to the end. His early game alliances were strong enough as well to get him deep. Having allies that aren’t very good at challenges comes in handy, since you can get to the end with them and then simply win immunities, forcing others to have to go after each other, keeping your hands relatively clean. Garners you more jury votes I feel.

Jeremy would probably vote for him if he wasn't against Natalie, and everyone else who didn't went out pre merge, so never knew him. I feel like honestly Tony deserved a mention for Winners at War. He should have had a perfect game, and he also almost tied the record for individual immunity wins, and all of the votes he lost were at final tribal with the largest jury in history. The jurors who voted against him either didn't play much with him because they were out at edge in the pre-merge, with the person they voted for, or it was Jeremy, a great friend of Natalie's. He was at the largest disadvantage, being placed against all winners and having to deal with the edge of extinction without a vote ever cast against him until the four at final tribal.
