Yes! Her vocal performance on this song is a masterpiece.
One of my all-time favorite bands. They are absolutely amazing.
Always a great show no matter her lineup. Had the privilege to see her perform several times in the 80’s, and she’s still on my playlists…
They were exceptional when i saw them in 77/78/79. Siouxsie had presence & sang with attack & venom. Now she rocks the Skechers on stage.😢

I do love the punk goth queen but I did watch her recent stage doing spellbound... unfortunately I wasn't spellbound. But we all change as we age. Cheers Heck I'm almost 50 and have several siouxsie shirts they are the best band
I was lucky enough to see the original line up live in 1978 as a 15 year old. It was the only time I saw them live.

You didn’t see the original line up, that only lasted for their debut gig
Never really got them until recently I heard “Spellbound” and wow what a track I am now totally hooked
This band changed things, made it better, incredible sound. Never gets old.
I just want to say thank you Siouxsie & the Banshees🙏 You helped me thru a lot. A lot! ❤
You could have mentioned the one solo album Siouxsie did post Banshees. She launched a major tour with the album Mantaray.

Kiss them for me is a great song.
What a band. Still playing them tunes. Over the airwaves in my happy house. Siouxsie screaming at the neighbours and my rebellious teenage daughter doing her makeup.
Juju was great from top to bottom. Great songs all the way through one of my all time favorites

I what I would have done to be able to go!
We caught them at the Roxy with Talking Heads and X back in - I think - 1978. Fantastic evening.
It was great to hear the history of this iconic band. I first heard them on the legendary WLIR radio on Long Island, and immediately fell in love with their style and Siouxsie’s voice. She was such an influence on me as a vocalist. I regret only seeing them once in concert! Next to The Smiths they are my favorite 80’s band. 🖤
I became aware of SATB in '83, but didn't see them live til '85. The music itself sold me, but seeing Siouxsie live on stage...it was beautiful, it was chilling, her command and presence was sexy and intimidating all at the same time. Lifetime, with the Banshees, Creatures and her solo work, I've seen her perform around 7 or 8 times, and even to the last performance, Siouxsie always had that same effect on me. Siouxsie, if you're reading this....thank you, thank you for all of it 🖤
I first heard Siouxsie and the Banshees when I was in rehab. We were able to bring music for the rec room, and that's when I heard Happy House. I've been a huge fan ever since. That's also when I was introduced to the Cure with Killing An Arab.

Ahh, Out of Bounds. A movie starring Anthony Michael Hall with 0% on Rotten Tomatoes. His follow-up, Johnny Be Good, also has 0%. This all served to prove that Anthony Michael Hall was ABSOLUTELY NOT leading star material at all. Without an ensemble cast supporting him, he cannot act for shit, unfortunately. But yeah, awesome song!
I saw them in Athens at 89. Many people and nice situation.....
Saw them in1978andlast year still gotit😊
Did you forget to mention that Steve Jones played on three songs for kaleidoscope?

I watched this vid with the track, "Kiss Them For Me" playing in my head (not actually listening to the song itself... just that I started thinking of this for some weird reason). My two most FAVOURITE Siouxsie tracks of all time are "Song From The Edge of the World" and "Scarecrow". I dunno why. I just... Do.
Just wanted to thank you for this video so well done, so much information packed in a quick video A+++++++
As great as a SATB history video is, I cannot believe you completely skipped the Nocturne live album and video. The band was defined by its live intensity, and Nocturne was a spectacular tour-de-force of that energy, with Smith on guitar. But not a word. This video just jumped straight from Hyena to Tinderbox.

What can be said about Siouxsie and all her Banshees is that they were never afraid to experiment the breadth of their music is huge . The constant through it all is Siouxsie a face and voice along with Kate Bush in the UK the most important female singers of the 70s who have influenced all alternative artists in some shape or form. Matt the Siouxsie fan
What a band! Just brilliant! And I could not take my eyes off Siouxie on stage!!!

What really blew my mind was learning the mental attitude and predetermined goal, which fed their ambitious creativity. Paraphrased - 'Bowie and Roxy Music are dead; nobody is doing anything creative anymore'....and history was made by these untrained geniuses ! Fantastic
It's great to see Siouxsie back on stage at 65 (in 3 days). Hopefully a new album is on the way later this year. Not sure if "Suzie & The Banshees" were only added to the 100 CLUB punk festival two days before the show. Posters for the event were displayed at least a week or two in advance & the band is listed as one of the acts. "We're calling it quits!" was posted in the 1995 August/September issue of Pulse magazine in the U.S. Not sure why the press in the U.K. didn't announce the breakup of the band until much later in 1996.

In England Siouxsie is POP, Like the Cure. Here in America, she's Goth underground. British Goth bands hate the label. Even though we are loyal and patronize their concerts the most. When they come to America, they know they are not pop.
Thanks this video was Brilliantly DONE!!!!! . **""SS is a true Goddess!!"'!*"""*
Jenna Ortega?! Who knew? My kid will get a kick out of that. I think Siouxsie is so underrated. She should be just as known as Michael Jackson and Madonna. I think she prefers things this way though. There is a level of discernment her fans have.

Uh old is 100 You just act old
Sid Vicious was not in the Sex Pistols until long after he played with S&TB. So saying "Sex Pistol, Sid Vicious" is misleading. Also Marco Pironni was later in Adam & The Ants.
When peekaboo came out, I had the hots for Siouxsie so bad I could taste it.
I want to live in 'The Happy House' and have Siouxsie 'Kiss them for Me'. She leaves me 'Spellbound'. Too bad people have forgotten her 'God mother' Lene Lovitch! Her influence on Siouxsie was huge as well as on others (Nina Hagen and her 'Bird Song video inspired Francis Ford Cappola's 'Bram Stoker's Drakula') but she has been 'painted out' of music history. Despite bangers like 'New Toy', 'Lucky #1' and many more.
I don't think enough mentions were given to the bands later albums, rather than just the dates they were released. The Rapture, while being their last album, was a unique work that I think is underappreciated in their discography. It's romantic and sensual, showing a lot of maturity and growth. But overall a good video. Plus, the band is currently touring! Siouxsie is still great.
