You don’t know MAFG so how do you know he portrayed his life? The series was far from the truth, they made Caro seem like a dumb kid. He was 29 when he got caught but he was smart. The Ranch they talk about in Narcos was not in Zacatecas. It was actually in Chihuahua. The ranch’s name was El Buffalo

I'd like to believe that he had nothing to with Kiki Camarena's death, but he also said in a recent interview that he was never involved in drug trafficking or knew Rafa or Neto, which I'm pretty sure is a lie. Who knows... Or is this some cultural thing of Mexico, that they have to pretend that they're just some humble farmers, while the regular people think they're kind of heros who stood against the oppressive authorities? El Chapo pulled the same farmer act when he was shown on TV for the first time. Anyway, I think the guy has served his time. They should at least let him die as a free man. In my opinion drugs should be legal and their production and distribution controlled. At least the users should never be punished. Violence is another thing. Killing is wrong but you have to keep in mind that crime doesn't exist in vacuum. People do not kill because some people were just born evil - they kill because the circumstances made them the way they are. Ultimately the war on drugs is responsible for thousands and thousands of deaths.

Couldn't agree with you more. Miguel Angel seems way too smart to go along with what happened to Kiki, lets not forget, this wasn't just killing a DEA Agent. This was kidnapping, torturing, killing, and dumping a DEA Agent. You're right, the war on drugs is where the violence comes from, legal pharmaceutical companies don't dismember their competitors because its the illegality that ultimately brings violence.
