ZX made me realize that Metal Gear Solid's Grey Fox is in essence a Kamen Rider.

ZX is not only another example of how strong the franchise is, but also truly showing that when everyone bands together and give effort and love to make a new rider just for the franchise to continue. I really can't express of how happy I felt when I heard that amazing piece of history

Recently, ZX has appeared in the 'Kamen Rider Tycoon meets Kamen Rider Shinobi' special teaming up with other ninja themed Kamen Riders, with his original actor once again reprising his role.

i love ZX so much. In the kamen rider spirits manga he was so hype and badass to read through and haevs like best fights imo

Damn so ZX was an official OC in a way(kinda like Jet Jaguar), that's dope. I kinda wish he got his own series

While we didn't get a full series, the 2nd Kamen Rider Spirits manga that focuses on him is a really good read that builds nicely on the character's original story. Doesn't make up for the lack of a full mid-1980's Kamen Rider TV series, but it adds to his background.

It’s just a dang shame ZX never got a proper full TV series.

It's a shame that this special is short because part of the plot is summarized at the beginning and when I was even a little confused. / we realize that despite bringing several old Riders this special already brings a lot of the mid 80's aesthetics for filming, action scenes and photography, and ZX has a more 80's look too. I liked it when the movie Heisei vs Showa highlighted him, that's worth a lot and it's a shame these crossovers ended because they could do something like ZO and J

Kamen Rider ZX was, in my opinion, one of the most awesome Kamen Riders to ever be created for a Kamen Rider Anniversary 😁😉👍

2:30, I didn't know he appeared officially in 1982. 4:20, a main Rider being friends with a Mutant in the start of a backstory sounds like a pretty cool idea. I really hope this comes back in a future project. 4:57, gee I wonder if Kamen Rider Amazon was present in there at the time. Hehe. 14:10, one of the much better of the SHT movies imo.

In 1994 with Saban’s power toward the world. I went out to educate myself with Super Sentai and of course Kamen Rider and this special was the introduction to Kamen Rider as a whole. Those where the days, ZO was the current Rider and J would be coming out soon. TV was not over saturated with Henshin Heroes calling themselves “Kamen Rider” as they no longer based on bugs, cyborgs or the stories are dark(W-Geats). Besides the 35 minute special, ZX(Z-Cross) should have had 10 episode line to tell the character and have crossover(is the 80s allowed it) with Dynaman and Sharivan.

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback on that. I just started using Final Cut Pro a month or two ago and now also leveraging its audio cleaning/enhancing tools. Hopefully it'll continue to get better.
