Watching this video make me so emotional. I was into Kara back in 2009. I was 16 at that time. Still keep every single album of Kara(even Nicole's solo album and Jiyoung's single as JY). Watching their performance help me overcome the pressure of public exam. Favorite non-title tracks: Aha , Magic, Smoothie,and of cause Dear Kamilia Try not to be that guy, but the kpop industry now is just not the same to me anymore.

Same here i found them in 08 and sisnt get into them till 09 because of HONEY.

Im loving this concept bro 😁😁😁 im sure u can do some more documentary history of other past popular boy/girl groups like t-ara, after school and others in terms of their success, their downfall and what went wrong plus some what ifs and all 😁😁😁 keep up with those awesome vids bro 😊😊😊

Yup! I will mainly focus on these commentary style videos including theories for MVs, mishaps during promotional periods and more. While these take time, they are very fulfilling to make.

I miss Kara soooooooo much, I hope they can eventually get back together in some way, either as 5 or hell even 7 I just need them together cause after they disbanded you hear nothing about them

thanks so much for this! ive always loved many 2nd gen groups, but i only fell for kara months ago. their recent comeback cemented that and im so so glad to have a documentary like this to teach me things of their past since its not easy to gather these with the many many sources because of their vast history. this documentary was soooo good so thank u again!

More eyes on them, even more expectation everytime they comeback, choosing to resign into bad situations (i.e. their companies) or choosing to leave and risking the group falling apart... this list can go on and on. Btw great video. Idk how long this took you but it's very well done.

lol technically 2yrs, would have probably taken a full day if I didn't already have parts 1 and 2 of this finished. I re-edited my original 2 parts and added the 3rd part. Estimated time was about 12hrs total for something this long. I will pick up the editing and audio recording moving forward with these commentary style videos.

Love this!

Best all round girl group ever imo,songs,concepts,beauty were perfection.Their Korean songs were all great choices,great songwriters.Mamma Mia and Cupid were great songs but I didn't like the choice of the new girls,preferred one of the other girls to be chosen myself,they would have been better with 5 imo,what a great career.....Tragic ending to the story though,difficult to comprehend what makes people get to the point of taking their own lives......R.I.P Goo Hara,gone but never forgotten,she has left us a great body of work to remember her by.

haha nah don't worry, this video contained a video portion that is under DSP Media and JBTC so they have the right to claim the monetization for this video. It's their copyrighted images (a portion I couldn't use under fair usage), the videos moving forward I'll be complying with the fair usage so they can be monetized (similar to reactions however reactions use an entire medium which is why reaction channels mainly cannot claim monetization on those videos).

I'd like to see a video like this of Girls' Generation

My first favorite kpop girl group in 2009 and the best imo. I missed them sooooooo much. I felt so sad when DSP shift them to jpop because i think it was a waste of KARA. They should have stayed in the Kpop market. Not that they are bad at singing Japanese songs or something, it just that I felt they lost their characters...that's why I left and stop listening when they only performed in Japan and I think that's the fall of them. Bad move DSP, the company is really bad to KARA.

I mean Japanese exposure is what really got them famous. They only did it because they weren't being all that successful in Korea at that time. After they released mister in Japan, that's when they really took off, and I love that song in the Japanese version :)
