Freddyland was a thing that, somehow, younger me believe was not only true but also that it would be a massive 3d game kinda like if Indigo Park chapter 1 and Last of Us had a semi-confined, animal baby. Edit: I thought that the fan-made FNAF 3 trailer and Welcome to Freddyland were one and the same when they came out, for whatever reason.

It’s still kinda funny how the hoax trailer basically predicted the location of Security Breach you know with the game taking place in a Fazbear themed mall plus the FreddyLand hoax is pretty similar to the newer Fnaf lore with FallFest being set up as a Fazbear themed carnival where the story of Fnaf started

And I wanted to turn the hoax trailer into an actual fan game myself for 9 years, but unfortunately never happened cause I have no experience in game design lol. Still got the idea and the story in my mind though. Not giving up on it. Probably will never hear back from GoldenLane to get his permission to make the game though, so I guess there's no point. But yeah, it's really crazy how some hoaxes benefitted from official FNAF content later on, and it makes me wonder if games like Security Breach at least got some inspiration from the hoax trailer. Or FallFest being inspired by Freddyland. Just something interesting to think about.

Well, the spanish side of the fandom is working on a Freddyland game.

I think one of the best things about BFPFilm's FNaF 3 game was that the animatronic attacks were scripted, based on camera flips. You can sit in the office and do literally nothing to win.

Withered toy Freddy, withered toy Bonnie, withered toy chica, withered mangle, withered BB, Withered puppet, shadow BB, Golden toy Freddy, that gator animatronic, sugar the cat, the ice cream man, Unwithered Bonnie, android freddy (nexus drakeson), chrome Freddy, markiplier animatronic, sparky the dog, Phantom Bonnie, FNAF 3 Freddy’s mall, FNAF 3 Freddyland, Fnaf 3 fan made/The Return to Freddy’s, etc. etc. such a unique time to be a FNAF fan, that will never EVER be replicated again. I really miss old nostalgic FNAF.

The withered Bonnie with a face from return to Freddy’s/fnaf 3 but not actual fnaf 3 always scares me for some reason. I think it’s how the eyes look or how it’s rendered. Ok so i was about to comment asking people if they remember that fans speculated that the third game was going to take place in a mall because I remembered that people thought the game was going take place in some sort of mall, but i found comments that mentioned it as well 😂 someone even mentioned how the hoax of the third game being in a mall and the hoax trailer predicted security breach and how it took place in Freddy themed mall.

man, I wasn't really that deep into fnaf during this period so I don't have history with these 'leaks' but it's just nostalgic to think about the time when some of my fifth grade classmates were all gathered around a computer playing a scratch recreation of fnaf 2 before the teacher noticed and told them to stop, good times.
