But then the Poles managed to defeat the Mongols! But one can also state the following about Poland in connection with the video. Polish-Lithuanian Union is still acceptable, although Poles already completely dominated the state at that time and it was actually a Polish empire for a long time. But Using the term Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth is absolutely wrong. Because this Polish state was a Polish Empire and the use of Lithuania in the name of the state is nonsensical, as it suggests a kind of equality that did not exist! Besides that the term Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth based on a mistranslation and is therefore wrong. This term is wrong because the term Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth is a modern invention in connection with Poland. A nonsensical invention by historians that does not correspond to reality. Moreover, the term is being used incorrectly because the Polish term Rzeczpospolita has been mistranslated as Commonwealth. So the term Commonwealth is used because of an incorrect translation. For that reason alone, one should not use this term. But the term should also not be used because the use of Lithuania in the name suggests a kind of equality that did not exist! The term Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealt was not used at all in earlier times. It would be appropriate to speak of Rzeczpospolita is the traditional and official name of the Polish Empire as a whole, including all duchies and and all ruled territories. The name of the state Rzeczpospolita is a combination of rzecz "thing, matter" and pospolita "common", a calque of the Latin res publica (res "thing" + publica "public, common"), so the republic, incorrectly translated as Commonwealth in English. By the way, in Poland, the word Rzeczpospolita is used exclusively in relation to the Republic of Poland, while other republic is referred to in Polish as "republika". Used in international treaties and diplomacy, the state has been called the most serene ( most high) Rzeczpospolita Poland (Polish: Najjaśniejsza Rzeczpospolita Polska, Latin: Serenissima Res Publica Poloniae or also Rzeczpospolita of the Polish Kingdom or Rzeczpospolita of Poland. Its residents simply referred it in the everyday language as Rzeczpospolita or Poland occasionally also the crown. But the state was never called Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Never!!! If one wants to use a more modern term one can use Polish Empire as also the term Swedish Empire is used. In any case, it would make sense to use the Polish proper name Rzeczpospolita as a designation for this state, which was actually still internationally common in the 19th century when talking about Poland before the partitions. The term Rzeczpospolita seems difficult to pronounce for non-Poles. But that is not the case at all. With a little practice, anyone can pronounce the term correctly, even you. A little help: Rz is pronounced like the "isi" in vision. So virzon sounds like vision. Cz sounds like the "ch" in church. So Czurcz sounds like church. But if one just use "sh" instead of "rz", that sounds close to Polish. "Ch" can be used instead of "cz". So Shechpospolita would be written in English, which could be pronounced without problems. So there is no reason not to use this correct term. By the way, the Polish Empire could also be used as an alternative to Rzeczpospolita for this state if one wants to use a modern term. The term Swedish Empire is also used, or even Danish Empire. Here is an addition to the Polish Empire because the term is rarely used. Poland was an empire at this time! This already proves the enormous size of the territory that the Polish king and the Polish parliament ruled. Why did Poland occupy Moscow in 1610? Why did the son of the Polish king become the Tsar of Russia? Out of imperial interest. Why did Poland rule the Ukrainian and Belarusian territories and all the other areas? Why did Poland control other areas as well? Out of economic interest, because the economic interests were also imperial interests. That goes hand in hand! By the way, an empire is usually a multi-ethnic state with political and military dominion of one ethnic group. Usually with one single imperial ruling ethnic group. And those were the Poles in this Polish Empire. The Poles ruled over various peoples and 5 different religious groups. The Poles ruled over the other peoples and in some cases also assimilated them. The Lithuanians were also controlled and assimilated by the Poles. Incidentally, it was a Polish empire, because the Poles were the nation in power. The Poles ruled the other peoples and partially assimilated them. That is why the use of Lithuania in the name of the state is nonsensical, as it suggests a kind of equality that did not exist! That was a Polish empire, which is why mentioning Lithuania in the state name is wrong. What is also relatively good about the video is that the so-called Holy Roman Empire, which should actually be correctly translated as "Holy Romen Realm", is referred as small states. But nevertheless, a kind of unit is suggested here that did not exist in reality because the small states are represented in one color as a unit. That's wrong because the Holy Roman Realm actually fell apart with the death of Kaiser Otto I. In fact, the German small states were actually permanently at war with each other, so that a united state could not arise! 1000 years they killed each other. One of the highlights was the Thirty Years' War. The areas inhabited by Germans were a patchwork of territories! Consisting of hundreds of smaller sub-units of principalities, bailiwicks, margraviates, lordships, free cities, baronies, duchies and even simple counties and bishoprics and other domains. The kaiser title was only status without real political meaning! Because the Holy Roman Realm was not a state, but a complex of territories. The siege of Vienna in 1683 was also proof that the kaiser's title had no political significance. The kaiser title was only status without real political meaning! So the Holy Roman Realm was over the centuries without central authority! For example the so-called Kaiser Leopold could not order the other German states at the second siege of Vienna in 1683 to send troops to save his capital, for his capital was not recognized as the capital of the all other German small states. Leopold's will was meaningless to the other Rulers of the other German small states. Only a few German states sent troops to support the Habsburgs. Because there was not enough support from the other German states and and the Habsburgs were too weak alone, so Leopold had to ask Polish Empire for help! Also these Germans of this small states often killed each other with the support of non-German allies. A completely ridiculous and stupid nation that was in a civil war for 1000 years and only managed to found a united German state in 1871. It was only in 1871 that the first permanent unified German state emerged. That is why the Germans are also known as the late nation. Because the first unified German state was only founded in 1871! By the way, at most, one could call this patchwork of territories a military alliance. But even that is actually wrong, because within a military alliance the allies do not fight each other all the time! The various German states also founded alliances, which also makes it clear that the Holy Romen Realm did not in fact exist! For example the Rheinische Allianz or the Welfenallianz or the Hildesheimer Allianz or the Kurrheinian alliance. It is interesting that these alliances could also include non-German states. For example was Sweden member of the Rheinische Allianz and France too! This demonstrates the confusion and the absurdity of the the Holy Romen Realm

@@GreatPolishWingedHussars also they were wrong about the Abbasid falling to the Safavids, it would the Samanids who would take over the Persian parts of the Caliphate but they still swore fealty to the Caliph in Baghdad, it also doesn’t show Ottoman conquest into Persia as they would have massive territory gains from the Safavids; that would later be lost to the Afsharids.

I've noticed a lot of things missing in your video: 1.The soviet invasion of poland of the 1920's 2.The turkish war of independence. 3. Limburg was never belgian 4. Luxemburg seceded 20 years after belgium instead of at the same time 5.Memel being annexed by Germany in 1939 6.After ww1 saarland was independent for a short time 7.Isn't it a bit odd to recognize the turkish claim on northern cyprus while only turkey recognizes it and not recoqnizing kosovo while multiple countries that government, if you choose to include northern cyprus you should also include states like transinistra, south-osettia, abkhezia and kosovo. 8.Trieste was a free city for a short time after ww1 9. Finland was never part of the Russian Empire but rather a puppet state for a while 10. Austria-Hungary and Prussia jointly occupied schleswig-holstein in 1867 11. Iberia contained way more states in the 12th century 12. Britanny was NOT french in the 14th century, they would be conquered about 120 years later.

Attila's father's name was Muncuk meaning Pearl in old Turkish. In Turkey Turkish it is Boncuk. Attila's son's name Dengizich is Turkic too, It means 'Ocean-like', in Turkey Turkish Deniz = Sea. In Turkey Turkish the sound 'g' is almost vanished in 1000 years. But in Turkish villages you can still find Turks who talk like Kazakh Turks. Kazakh Turks still use the (g) sound. For example: In Kazakh Turkish 'teñiz' is sea. The ñ gives the sound 'ng'. So it is Tengiz/Dengiz. In Turkey Turkish it means 'Sea' but in old Turkic it also meant 'Vast'. They called sea 'vast place, endless, boundless'. So it meant 'Vast-Person'. When you use this title to describe a man it means 'All-able'. 'Engiz' in todays Turkish means 'a vast area'. 'En' means 'width. We do not use Engiz much, we use the other derived version which is 'Engin'. 'Engiz' also has a meaning like ''spaciousness'' in Turkish. and another derived versions of Engiz is 'Eniz', which means 'field'. Again the sound 'g' is vanished, At the beginning I said 'Muncuk=Boncuk'. In Kazakh Turkish, Muncuk is Monşaq. In Kazakh Turkish ''my''=Meniñ/Mening In Turkey Turkish my= Benim. Again the M turned into B, and the (g) is gone. Note: Medieval Byzantine sources called Hungary Tourkia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tourkia In short, Huns were Turks.

The only difference between Hun Turks and Oghuz Turks is that Oghuz Turks migrated to Anatolia in large numbers and the migraiton lasted for 5 centuries. They made the majority of Anatolia. On the other hand Huns did not migrate in large numbers to Eastern Europe so they were assimilated by Slavs.

i watched almost every video on europe history and i came to conclusion. Serbia is first seen in late 7th century while Albania is seen in 1913 after the collapse of Ottoman empire. just by looking at the map and seeing this we can come to conclusion that Serbia is older country then Albania. also one interesting fact is that Bosnia and Albania are the only muslim countries in Europe while the rest are Christian. if we watched every balkan countries history we can also see that they where all christian countries not muslim. only after ottoman empire conquered balkan countries we can see the spread of muslim fate. after the collapse of ottomans out of thin air comes a country called Albania and claims that its oldest. Kosovo area is very special thing since most people are albanians and minority is serbs. albanians say that serbs are very agressive people and full of hate but no one wants to say what they did on Kosovo in 2004 when they burned orthodox churches while waving the flag of albania and chanting "allahu akbar". if they are peacefull why did they burn over 20 churches?

Well no, Albania wasn’t in the Caucasus, those were Greeks and Turks. Serbia showed up in the year 1100 with its assimilated people. Albania has been in the balkans since Pelasgian times. And Kosova has always been ethnically Albanian. Of the 498 mosques in Kosovo that were in active use, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) documented that 225 mosques sustained damage or destruction by the Yugoslav Serb army. After the war, a list was compiled which documented that over 13,500 people were killed or went missing during the two year conflict. The Yugoslav and Serb forces caused the displacement of between 1.2 million to 1.45 million Kosovo Albanians. the Serbian government began a crackdown on the Kosovar Albanian population, raiding villages and expelling people from their homes. Massacres by the Serbian police were reported, and suspects taken into police custody were often beaten and tortured to extort confessions.

@@pyrrhus9725 Everything has a history. Kosovo was mostly inhabited by Serbs. Until the Serbs were expelled during the Ottoman and German occupation with the support of the Albanians. Also, the numbers you claim are wrong. The numbers you claim are wrong. The Humanitarian Law Center released a list of people killed or gone missing during the war, including 8,661 Kosovo Albanian civilians, 1,797 ethnic Serbs and 447 civilians of other ethnicities such as Romani people and Bosniaks. Both sides were equally violent only that the Serbs had a superior army. So that's why they were more successful in the expulsions! You have already described the crimes of the Serbs! Quote from Wiki Link: "War crimes in the Kosovo War" The (Albanian) KLA was responsible for serious abuses... including abductions and murders of Serbs and ethnic Albanians considered collaborators with the state. Elements of the KLA are also responsible for post-conflict attacks on Serbs, Roma, and other non-Albanians, as well as ethnic Albanian political rivals... widespread and systematic burning and looting of homes belonging to Serbs, Roma, and other minorities and the destruction of Orthodox churches and monasteries... combined with harassment and intimidation designed to force people from their homes and communities... elements of the KLA are clearly responsible for many of these crimes.

The smaller kingdoms were Areon southwestern Scotland, Calch-Fynydd the modern Welsh spelling is Lime Mountain in Southern Scotland, Edyn area around Edinburgh Southern Scotland, Lleuddiniawn (Country of the Fort of Lugus) modern day Lothian Southern Scotland and finally Manaw Gododdin Southern Scotland.

The video is just not perfect and there are also mistakes regarding Poland! This demonstrates the confusion and the absurdity of the the Holy Romen Realm.
