Daisy and Boco are both quite underrated characters, as is Mavis, they all should have gotten more roles in the TV series! Diesel was overused abit too much.

BoCo is not under rated just criminally underused. He is a very popular character up there with Edward, Duck, Oliver, James and Duke

Daisy is a really great character, especially in the CGI series.

I like her most in books as a person, but the model daisy, although she has very little screen time, but in my opinion she is just beautiful. (cgi good too).

Do you know when this video started and was talking about the Great Depression, for a moment there I thought I clicked on the wrong video. XD

I think it's really sad that Daisy got completely shafted in the TVS. She only appeared in 2 episodes in the second series, she wasn't at the Tidmouth Christmas party in TATMCT, her role in "Mavis" was given to Diesel & she was completely absent from the 5th-8th series. I would've loved to see stories like "Snow Problem" & "Thomas comes home" adapted to the TVS.

The christmas party is because she and Boco share the same chassis and therefore can't be in the same shot at the same time.

@@AdmiralBlackstar Daisy & BoCo appeared together in "Rusty to the rescue" and Daisy had a fake bogie made for her there, I don't see why they couldn't do it there.

@@brenlc1412 Real world reason? Because that was a much later episode where they thought of that. And that also wasn't them. Those models were just reused to pretend to be BR railway diesels, while most of those characters should've been back on Sodor.

Funny enough, I actually just got a 92-94 wooden railway Daisy as a Christmas gift not too long ago. Also, just a suggestion, but maybe the next one could be Arry and Bert/ Splodge? Idk

The only thing that annoyed me about Daisy was how small her cabin was. It was not big enough for anyone to stand in, but it's interesting to know that this was addressed in the CGI series.

Drayton Manor has claimed another victim. (At least they aren’t letting people touch the models like a certain other talking vehicle trust group.)

Considering Daisy was the very first Thomas character I ever saw, she actually holds a special place in my heart. And it kind of upsets me that she's at Drayton Manor.

I would love to see one for elizabeth...she is a very interesting underused character that i believe had at least 3 models and a close up model

Daisy is a really lovely character. in my opinion, the most beautiful of all female characters in TV series. it's a pity that in the model series she was given so little screen time, and after that she was forgotten in the HiT era.

You know come to think of it that explains why we never see Boco and Daisy together

The reason why you can count all of Daisy's appearances in the Model Series on one hand is because her model was troublesome to work with. Even though Daisy was prominently featured in the Railway Series books, her role in the TV series adaptation of "Mavis" was taken by Devious Diesel. Daisy appears a lot more in the CGi series, having several "A Day in the Limelight" episodes and being seen in several other episodes as a supporting character, but that's probably because CGi was easier for the producers to work with.

This was great

It's funny, I never had any merchandise of Daisy or any of her episodes on DVD/VHS, but even so she's a really nostalgic character for me. I remember one day my Mom had to leave to pick up my Dad from work and put the TV on for me while she was gone, she found Thomas put it on and there was Daisy in her debut episode. I enjoyed the episode but always thought it was weird how she seemingly disappeared afterwards and always kind of hoped to see more of her.

I do enjoy your videos very interesting, can you please do more model videos on tugs? I know you had issues with certain people not liking it but I did and so like to know more about Grampus.

One thing somewhat annoying about Daisy, is the fact that she rides so high. If you look at her along side platforms, she sits a good scale three feet above the platform surface. This was done due to the limitations of the model, having to put the eye mechanism in there, as well as to make it easier to see her face. The original drawings showing a much smaller face. Interestingly, the CGI model worked to correct this somewhat.

Daisy was gonna appear in series 3 but was cut she had a series 3 model, she was gonna appear in series 6 but was cut again, she was gonna appear in series 8 but was again the 3rd time (she had a series 8 model), and she was gonna appear in series 12 but was cut again the 4th time
