Yes. I tried several Palinka when I visited Budapest and some are quite delicious. Also, Hungary has a significant winemaking history (more than just Tokaj) so be sure to drink some delicious wine when in Budapest.

I think Great Big Story is in love with Hungary. They have made so many videos on Budapest.

I was in Budapest a few months ago. Amazing city.

I have a friend who is Hungarian and I asked him what’s it like to drink palinka? He asked me if I drink alcohol at all. I told him no (I don’t like the taste of alcoholic drinks). So he told me “if you want to know what drinking acid feels like, drink pálinka.

As a fellow Hungarian, I feel delighted to see this! 😊
