It’s quite the opposite, they keep many Lake and river ecosystems healthy and they form the ground where rain water collects after a drought determining the route of the water

First time at the zoo in Oakland a hippo pooped near the railing and it splashed onto a little girls face. Same day saw tortoises getting it on for the first time in my life. did not expect the loud grunting and moaning.

Many many years ago when i went to the zoo as a child, I saw a group of hippos walking out of a like in line. The one at front decided to go and i assume their mate was right behind... I think I decided I knew as much as i would need to know about hippos from them on.

I mean…Hippos are far from the worst by our standards, hell even dogs eat their own shit, plus Hippos are very important to the eco system their in, the paths of flattened grass and mud determine where the water will flow when the dry season ends
