Names of many countries have vedic origin from singapore to Pakistan, afghanistan, all other central Asian 'stan's, indonesia, west Indies, sri Lanka, and so on.. Stan is sthaan which means land. Well Bali is a hindu majority province of Indonesia...almost 90% of population of Bali follows Hinduism..which is why it has a very different and amazing feel than the rest of the country..and is the hub of tourism for the country...they are not just protecting their heritage...they are practicing hinduism...better than many in India

Hiuen-Tsang, who visited India from 629 to 645 AD, describes a south Indian king who ordered the execution of many thousand Buddhists including 8,000 in Madurai alone. Vira Goggi Deva, a South Indian king, described himself as... "a fire to the Jain scriptures, a hunter of wild beasts in the form of the followers of Jina (Jains) and an adept at the demolition of Buddhist canon. For survival the jains later on agreed to believe in the hindu deities although they are not mention anywhere in the Jain scripture 'agamas' and their places of worship termed mandir instead of jinalaya.

During our trip to Indonesia, We were pleasantly surprised to see many Hindu Temples along with various art forms connected to Hinduism. We also visited Pandawa Beach where we saw statues of all Pandavas. Our taxi driver told us that locals here are really proud of their association with Hinduism🙏

Srijita Banerje Abt 3 yrs ago, excavation work in Indonesia, reveled a buried 3 ft tall Ganesh statue, whose carbon- dating revealed that it was 7500 years old. The Indonesian ( a Muslim) manager of the excavation site, when he was interviewed by a European reporter, told latter that " we will preserve this statue because it tells us Indonesians about our history & our future generations must also be aware of past Hindu heritage & culture....unless we know our ancient historical past, we cannot interpret our country's present with accuracy....hence, this Ganesh statue adds to our vital historical evidence of our present Hindu cultural practices..." There is a video of this interview on KZread which also showed the intact Ganesh statue on the excavation site. The site manager even said that the security guards will protect this statue

Leave dharma they don't even care about our soldiers and army, questioning everything is a routine. Even the syllabus of hist and many parts of Sanskrit are against our cultural values and have extremely adulterated studying content.

I think BHARAT should invest in improving the ties with Indonesia both culturally and diplomatically by helping them build the new capital by giving them lines of credit, soft loans and grants. Indonesia's geographic location is very crucial to India. It is near to Beijing and Taiwan both. We should work with them in the similar way we work with Sri Lanka or Nepal and make them our strong ally. Plus Indonesia is in a much better state financially when compared to Sri Lanka, so there should be no problem in helping them.
