The Hills Bulk Waste Pt 1

Early on a Monday when I'd arrived at Carlingford, I had only travelled by foot for about a kilometre when I saw this rig swing out of a street and roar up a hill, where it disappeared into a second street. Not thinking much about seeing anything, I took a casual walk towards where this truck had gone, then turned off into a street near the one it had disappeared into. If it wasn't for the calm winds in that peaceful neighbourhood, I wouldn't have heard the nearby distant revving of a Cummins engine at 1000RPM. I can tell you I turned into an Olympic sprinter... only a matter of seconds later I spotted this truck sitting aside a long pile of bulk waste.
The operators were very cool blokes, I appreciate them letting me film this... something I would've hated to miss. If you have come across the Campbelltown Bulk-Waste video I posted, it is basically the same truck except a little newer and it's also getting pretty full. The only real contrast between the two is that these guys really tested the power of hydraulics - the forces applied are incredible! I like to refer to these two videos as a definition of "packed out"...
Big thanks to the guys for putting the show on, I hope you all enjoy this extreme action, please leave all your ratings and comments. Also the action continues straight into part 2 and be sure to check out the regular garbage and green-waste videos.

They take a fridge? I'm guessing the freon has been removed? Either way, I guess metal recycling is not something we do down under? A lot of metal could have been reused but will now occupy space in a landfill.

Doesn't Toowoomba provide a clean-up collection? Seems like one of the most common services available for residential collections. Maybe it's too expensive for them to handle? - reckon it might be linked with the same reasons as the skip trucks?

that jp5 has a different blade set up because it doesnt open straight like the doyle bros one. the sweeper blade is almost at a 90 degree angle . kinda like how 158s blade looks when its open
