best firearm in the game period :D my first ever diamond was a springbuck i took with this on a mountain-lake

This is one weapon I always mount an Argus on, each mil-dot from center is another 25 meters from what I have been able to figure out It is deadly efficient for culling whole herds of feral goats and similar sized game

The hyperion scope is 50m per dot as well. So if you want to long distance snipe with an air rifle there ya go lol

Yep, 267m is my furthest shot with it and worked really well on that sheep.

Any tips on hunting red foxes? I have trouble with those and coyotes. Can't ever find them and they don't respond to calls. I'm only lvl 10 so I might need different gear

When I shoot animals I don't get that vapour cloud when the bullet hits I'm on ps5 any ideas why?

I love this gun in fact my Fav in the game been playing since before there were bikes and you had to walk everywhere, dame shame tho that you don't get Gold with the air rifle for bunny's or goose .. in the UK air rifles are used a Lot for Rabbit shooting, love this game but another gripe is that after playing some hours on Xbox X the menu stops working moving guns or tents and locks up, I know this is a memory thing but still hurt's the gameplay... the fact there's more to shoot now on console is a good thing, the game has come to life a lot.

I love this rifle unfortunatly it is currently bugged for me. 7/10 shots are hitting way higher from where they should. It's apparently linked to the zeroing perk. it costed me a diamond chamois earlier. From 100m, Aimed for a double lung and the bullet hitted just above the spine. So annoying.

I just went to the range to practice up to 300 metres with the air rifle I just got a flying gold turkey at 175.53 metres with the air rifle at a river crossing in New Zealand

I don't get the score but it's a really fun challenge to take down moose, red deer and capes with the air rifle. I have killed moose with a single lung from 260 m. So fun.

i hope we get a 50 cal air rifle so I can chase grizzlies around Yukon with it.

I’ve shot an air rifle irl, not hunting just shooting at a target, I did a pretty decent job, some near bullseye and considering that I haven’t touched a gun before, I did a good job, and for those who say: that’s illegal, your to young to, or: FAKE: I did it at a scout camp Called Gillerroo ( not sure how to spell it)

Love how they dont spook when using that rifle.. but it makes it easier to erase zones while using it.. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️😂

I do too. Try using a tripod. That's what I did cause you can easily take out the entire herd! Thanks for watching!

@@LadyLegendXO I clipped a black tail buck from a 143 yards that resulted in a flesh shot then got the kill shot from 44 yards with the .45 cyclone! I have the picture to prove it!

In real life this is the : Hatsan Hercules . Comes even in 9mm . Fun fact , thx 🤗

Yeah, the hollow points are garbage. The round points are the way to go. I decimated Sika deer in Te Awaroa with the Cyclone

Anyone else find this gun really inaccurate on xbox? I very rarely use it because I can't guarantee the round will go where I've aimed. I always make a point with the air rifle of shooting from as close to the zero range as I can, to eliminate bullet drop guesswork, but still around one shot in four hits the animal nowhere near where I aimed, if it even hits at all.

I use it for coyotes in Layton on Xb and it’s pretty accurate for me. Has it always been inaccurate for you, or is this a post-dog-update bug? I actually haven’t used the air rifle since the dog update, but am about to start. I didn’t realize it doesn’t spook herds, and I just recently got the SRP map, so I need to thin some herds.

I have taken down elk and black bear pretty easily with this gun

It's great for making cash

From what i experience with this weapon , i would put the tag " not reliable " on it , when it penetrates and hit vital organ , animal die very fast but because of its low penetration , shooting angle is much more important than other gun ....The accuracy is also not that great either .
