The High Chaparral was my favorite western on TV. The casting was superb and excellent scripts.

This is my all time favorite show. I think The High Chaparral was the most authentic western for its time. Rudy Ramos was a great addition to the show. Too bad we could not see more of him in more seasons.

The episode “Wind” had some of the best scenes in western TV. The backwards flip on the horse is so amazing.

I just bought the DVDs for each season and just finished season 4. Too bad it was not renewed as it would have been so interesting to see how the relationship unfolds between Wind and the others; especially Buck.

At the time The High Chaparral was cancelled westerns we’re going out of favor. What a shame as season 4 was turning out to be very interesting.

Personally, l thought Wind was the cutest, most interesting character on The High Chaparral. I actually loved all the characters and was so upset when the show was cancelled. Anyone know why??????
