This is the first time I have seen this film since it came out in November 1971. Back then as a teenager I did not feel the full impact. Now as an aging adult, especially with a wife from East Germany, it truly hits on a new level. With what we see taking place in 2023 all believers must prepare to be faithful as never before. Be brave in Christ our Savior.

I really recommend the book, it is even more powerful than the film. It made me wish that I had known the Ten Booms, yet I felt that I knew them through the book. It is beautifully written & God must have put His Hand in it.

Took a Christian girlfriend to see this film in theatre in October of 1975 while still in high school; we held hands all through the film; the following year, 1976, in October the late Rev Billy Graham presented a revival, I was an usher and my girlfriend sang in Cliff Barrows choir. So thankful her and I are saved through the Lord Jesus Christ for all eternity

We are saved by GRACE and you must also believe that the HOLY BIBLE is the inherent and infallible word of GOD!!!!!!! True from cover to cover.

Corries story is awesome, she touched the world and was an example to all of us. It's especially relevant now bc we are watching the evil rise again as it did in WW2.

When we go up is judgment day after the 1000 yr reign, read 2 Peter 3 When He comes down He kills those with yeast in their blood. Dyed garments is not dyed, it’s chametzed which is yeast. Yeast in their blood. And He goes to Mt olives and Bozrah. Isaiah 63 1-6 Zachariah 14 is the 1000 year reign on earth. No rapture.

Then I checked in the exhaustive concordance (NIV) and looked up all the "yeast" and "leaven" references in the Bible. I STILL have no idea what you are talking about! It reminds me of the story in Matthew where Jesus warns to "beware the yeast of the Pharisees" and His disciples think he is actually talking about bread. I think you are deeply confused and need to spend much more time in the Bible, Just quietly you and God together and ignore other strange writings and strange voices from strange people. Birds can lose consciousness after head trauma and go limp for 15-60 minutes after which they wake up and fly away. A dying or dead bird with get stiff rigid feet and body. So your Sparrow had minor head trauma and came to. It often happens to birds after they hit their head against glass windowss.

Fantastic movie. I never knew about Corrie until I started attending a Baptist Church in our county a few years ago. What a brave God-fearing woman. May we all have that courage there's more darkness coming with so much corruption in all our world Governments. [Matthew 24] I pray everyone reading this has given their hearts to Jesus Christ and are trusting in HIs blood to save them. The time is now. This Age of Grace is drawing to a close. Rubbish. I loved God followed him praised him he drove me away because I was not predestined. Not able to afford basic needs church abandoned me left me socially isolated didn't help. Knowing that they were driving me to suicidal aims. I'm just looking for a way to die a quick death but God doesn't even allow that. Churches only help those who are predestined otherwise they just let you suffer. I'm living proof of God's hate. He won't even pet me succeed to die but keeps me here to suffer. Like woman said in movie he's sadistic if you are not a chosen one.

Jesus Jesus Jesus Jesus till you live. His first words created light. That the first day. Then He later (after those days) died on the cross but first again spoke some words a last will and new testament promise. Powerful creative words to each one that by Him can hear. 👂 I will put my heart and my mind in you I will be your God you will be my people your sins I will remember no more. Read it Hebrews 8 and 10th chapters in full an eternal inheritance not many Christians know of this creative words and promise. Creative words that believed make all things new and enable all believers to keep and do the law of love as our Saviour has. Thank God by His Holy Spirit Jesus lives in all believers and then we will love God and our fellow travelers. My friends brother died yesterday but he had a mind to follow Jesus. Death is a sleep to be swallowed up in victory at the last Trump at the soon coming of Jesus in the clouds. Robert and I Dan have temporarily lost both our brothers, Michael now sleeps Gary my eldest maybe another never met brother Dale another of Bob's and Dave we love and miss so many. What a day is coming this old world waxes old but words will again be spoken and a new earth 🌎.

Then gave this as an inheritance, after His resurrection let's rewrite the inheritance to keep a spurious Sabbath. Think to change times and laws Daniel tells us. No God is my lawgiver and His work tells me to count the seventh day as our and His Sabbath . One two three four five six Sabbath Saturday not the day of the sun or moo. He created light on Sunday Wednesday the sun moon and stars which were not needed for light. If people want a false day of rest why not Wednesday? His last will and testament promise was a heart recreated to keep the true honor of our creator on the true seventh day and all the law he blesses us to keep them by faith in His enabling promise.

One of the best movies I have ever seen! Very true to the book and to research that has since been discovered. You can still go to the ten Boom house, now a museum, in Haarlem. I’ve been there and I highly recommend it. I watched this again bc of all the evil In the world- sometimes I get distressed. I needed to hear again how the ten Booms made it through, the Scriptures they quoted, their faith- with the increase of anti- Semitism and persecution of Christians increasing around the world- I need God’s strength! I pray for my children to have strength to face whatever tomorrow brings!

One day this mess will be over with, the hate, the controlling, what a sick world we live in, Lord help us

I am "young" enough to keenly remember the series "Holocaust" on TV in the late 70s. This had a profound impact on my life. Then, when I became a follower of Jesus, "The Hiding Place" had an even more profound impact on my life. I eventually became a high school teacher of history and social studies and swore that I would not neglect teaching the history of the Shoah as I taught the other important history, too. I love each and every one of my students and teach them the full orb of US and World history. I thank God for this movie and I continue to serve Him.

I, too am praying for each and every last one of us during these trying times. God protect us all. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

"WITH JESUS, EVEN IN OUR DARKEST MOMENTS, THE BEST REMAINS AND THE VERY BEST IS YET TO BE." I read Ten Boom's story several times when I was a new believer. Twenty-one years later, I stumbled upon the movie, and it still overwhelms me. It's such a powerful testament to God's glorious grace!

Wow when she was talking to the kids with Down syndrome about Jesus. I started crying! Reminded me of my grandparents that are in heaven now. They used to teach the neighborhood kids about Jesus!

I have watched this movie so many times. It gives me Courage. To know that Corrie Ten Boom did suffer so much and was a witness to so much evil. That she was even able to continue Trusting and Loving the Lord despite what was hard to reconcile with a Loving God, gives me Hope. Even so come quickly Lord Jesus.

Such a powful and inspiring story! To have the faith, courage, and forgiving, loving heart that the Ten Boom's had. That only comes from accepting Jesus as your Savior and asking Him to take the hate and vengefulness out of us and replace it with His love and forgiveness. That is something I'm actively praying for and I know He will answer me and help me. Thank You Jesus! Hallelujah!

There are no words really, Betsie and Corrie was so full of the Love of Christ.

sometimes it's very difficult to understand and accept but Jesus is very real and is always there for us according to his will and time no matter what the situation is.

A timely reminder in these troubled times. I read the story of Corrie ten Boom as a young girl; and I’ve never forgotten her reminder: that if we give ourselves genuinely to the lord, our reward is in heaven. Nothing we experience on earth compares to what our saviour did for us.

It is good to be reminded, in these troublesome and dark days, of the power of love and forgiveness. I think many of us can relate to Corrie's hurt, confusion and anger. It is easy to reel in hate; it is difficult to free forgiveness once it has been snagged on that dark hook of despair. We can unite as one body in Christ, strengthening each other in hope through Truth. God's love blanket each of you in the Peace of the Prince of Peace.🦋❤🦋

This movie teaches us about our faith in CHRIST!!! no matter what kinda darkness we may face in our lives, we need to have this faith and love for our SAVIOR!!! and for others, THANK YOU JESUS FOR ANOTHER DAY OF LIFE, AND FOR US TO BE ABLE TO SHARE THAT LOVE WITH ONE ANOTHER!!! AMEN!!!!

That line's stuck with me ever since I read the book, and it always will be with me. I didn't know there was a film of The Hiding Place, and I didn't know it was on here either! It was an amazing book, an amazing story. Another thing that will always stay with me is that when Corrie's Father was buying a train ticket to go somewhere, I think he was literally doing that, and Corrie asked him something about having the strength to do something, it's years since I read the book, and I can't remember all the details of it, but Corrie's Father said to her that like when he'll give her the ticket just before she gets on the train, God will give us the strength to do something just at the time when we need it. That's very powerful, and it will always stay with me. The whole book's incredibly powerful, and it had a tremendous impact on me. I'll watch this film sometime. I had no idea it was on KZread. I was looking for something else, and I'm pleased I saw it.

The epitome of "Faith". I first watched this movie in my 5th grade class and it touched me tremendously. I am 38 years old and I still feel the same way years later. 😭🙏🏾

A good reminder for all Christians now. Will WE risk all to obey God if asked to EVEN IF ITS AGAINST a tyrannical government’s rules & laws? Will we be a Ten Boom or a Bonhoeffer OR will we be like the Ten Boom’s Pastor who would not risk safety to help hide or help persecuted Jewish brothers & sisters?

We are all sinners remember to forgive all, love all and know Jesus died for us all that we live on in heavon together in love. We will live and not die but be with Jesus.

I thank God for the Ten Booms. Many people accepted Christ because of them. God bless all the families of the brave people who hid Jews during the war. It is 2022 and once again hatred for Jews is rearing its ugly head. Dear God we pray for the Jews that they too would come to know Christ. Give them strength and your love Lord! Oh YAHUWEH ADONENU, I just watched this real history of the family Teen Boom in tears. How beautiful and sincere love between the sisters Corrie and Betsie! How hard times they lived and how brave and hopeful they were before You, our mighty God ELOHIM ABBA Father!

I come from a line of German Jewish and Native American. It's no wonder the life I grew up in. Lots of anger passed down. It makes me understand all the abuses I went through as a child. Though still unacceptable behavior. I understand. Tried to break the cycle. These movies will always be dear to my heart.
