Hey Friends! Welcome back,
In today’s video I’m giving you a tour of my Ultimate Dream Garage. It’s been 6 months since completing the garage makeover. I’m giving you an in-depth look at what I’m storing in all my cabinets and what tools I currently have. I’m still growing into my organized garage and figuring out what works best. I can’t wait to see where this garage is in a year from now. I’ve kept an on going list of tools I want to upgrade, replace, and add to the collection of new tools. I used Harbor freight trays to organize my tools in most of the drawers. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this video in the comments.

Very, very impressive. As I look at the organization, neatness, etc. I am every few minutes thinking - all of this took more than 30 minutes to get it looking like that. And you have room for expansion. And as all woodworkers know - it is all "my" shop. Hubby's stuff got to go to the outside building.

Truly inspirational! My wheels are really spinning watching your organization. I’ve been realizing lately that the huge open shelves I have are pretty dysfunctional and a waste of space, especially because I only use the stuff on the front 6 inches of the 2 foot deep shelves. Thinking about a row of low tool boxes with drawers and work bench surface above for bench top tools.

This was such a hopeful video to see as my garage looks like yours did previously. I wear my ocd badge with pride and this is my level of awesome & functionality. Since I have heritage tools also, I’d like to recommend a cleaning & sealing. Example, (1.) place your small “demo” hammer in a pure white vinegar bath for a couple days (metal only & submerged). (2.)Rinse with water. (3.) rinse with baking soda to neutralize acid. (4.) wire wheel clean. (5.) soak in used motor oil (I let it set for about a day). Lastly, I wipe down and place back into circulation. Keeps toolboxes clean but most importantly they’ll keep in good condition for whichever of my kids inherits them. Good luck & thanks!

Looks super nice. I like that its clean, bright, organized, very logical layout of storage. I like that many things are on wheels so it can be moved around. I like the open roof (al thought it would not work where I live) and the extra storage and openness that brings. I did not see a vac or dust collector so that is something you might like to add in future. From what it was before, an amazing transformation. I think your dad would have liked it. Maybe you can come over and help me organize my place. 🙂
