I’ve always said half jokingly that I believe Yeshua and Buddha are just smiling on humanity and sharing a drink as they watch our antics. I think that while these respective prophets truly did walk the earth, they weren’t exactly who humanity wrote them out to be and rather they were higher spirit incarnate sent to teach us the basics of love and seeking our higher callings.

I visited someone in a mental health unit and another patient asked me, 'have you read the gospel of Thomas?' I told him that I hadn't but I would make sure that I read it. I did read it & I read everything I could find . In the 70s I read a book on yoga & it stated: without leaving your home, you can know all there is to know. We rely all to much on the supposed wisdom of others, & thereby become sheep. You have everything you need, within you. Be quiet and 'know' the peace within.

The irony is however, in order to get what you want in the future, you have to be willing to sacrifice the present. You want that body you dream of? Got to start hitting the gym and eating healthy. Want that million dollar lifestyle? You got to be grinding out those business ventures. Want a loving family? Best get busy pursuing that one. Anything you want can be possible but it requires sacrifice. The real question is what type of life is worthy of sacrificing the present?

Clark, a very powerful video. Interesting to know you were a Teology student. Since my childhood, I loved to listen to the Texts during mass. But only now I begin to understand some of them. My interpretation of "the end is in the beginning": We go home just like we came from home. Our conscioussness lives inside a human body for some time, but this temporary life on Earth is not our home. So, we don't experience death, just detachment from our temporary experience, we are going home. I really loved Thomas gospel 💛 I'd like to listen more about it 👍

The more I learn ,the more comfortable I become with my belief that God is inside us all. Religion is the outdated effort to control people and thoughts. Some can listen to religious teachings and separate and interpret the meaning of it. What truly scares me is the people that follow religion blindly and demand that we all do the same. The reasons they were removed my friend is because certain rightings were older then 150years after Christ and didn't aline with the original Gospels. So the counsel decided to acknowledge the original text and avoid text out of date with the events. It's like if someone in 100 years rights a story about you but never knew you.

I, too, was raised in a Christian home and went to Christian college and have a minor in theological studies. I remember learning about Gnosticism and the other gospels way back in the late 70's, early 80's. But my journey has taken me to true spirituality but it has taken me years to deconstruct my early teachings. So I'm sorta new to all of this, but am so open to learning more. Thank you.

But it may wish for the rain... For a nest of companions (family of birds), or even sunlight. I see God as a Family. The Family of Consciousness. There is no other. One one Family, One God. Our Family has One Source (Father) and One Body (Planet Earth) to house consciousness... for it is consciousness that dictates physical reality, just as our minds move out bodies. Macro Body (planet) and Micro bodies ("all Flesh" as in Acts 2, including Humanity). Love is the Governor of All consciousness. But this is simply how I am able to see. I don't say anyone must agree. Just sharing because I found your comment intriguing and thought provoking.

This video popped up in my suggestions at 3:30am after waking up in the middle of the night after being let go from a toxic workplace. These reminders are great comfort. I know the Lord needed to disconnect me from that place for my talents to make a way for me for His glory. Bless you for this post, sir.

I was telling myself “when I move into my own home, I can truly be free of Christianity and start living the spiritual life I know I should live rn”. Mainly cause I’m currently in this time living with my parents and siblings. And my parents are religious, having us watch church, be afraid of a separate Hell, praying to a separate God saying “please” instead of “thank you”. My whole family is religious and it has made me think I could never be spiritual or be free of religious chains. I’m starting to do what I said I’d do now instead of waiting till I move. Cause I can still learn about my true spiritual self and truly connect with God within me without having to move out. I’ll be respectful of my family who are religious, but I won’t let their beliefs bring me back to being a worried Christian again.

Universal consciousness. We are everything to have ever existed experiencing life through different lenses. Took acid and I had this strange feeling that we are all connected to something much bigger than our physical bodies. Energy is not created or destroyed only transferred into something else. Almost all religion points to an eternal consciousness. Maybe this is what god is, maybe god is a metaphor for eternal life and that we are all essentially everything. It’s why Christianity says “God is in all of us”

You have control of today it may not be as you want it, but you do control of your own actions and thoughts. The most important temple is you, God built it and only you have control over it and decide what you let in, out, and/or keep. We learn from yesterday, we imprint the decisions we make today to ourselves and those around us, and hope for a better day tomorrow. So really enjoy life today and do good because it may be our last. Remember everything in nature and the earth has God or the creator in it, respect them.

Thankyou, im not religious or Christian, I've been obsessed with science and understanding the un-understandable my entire life and thats pushed me away from Religion. But there is much to be learnt from the philosophy of generations past regardless of what you believe so whilst I mostly watch you for self improvement/organisation, content like this is fascinating to me. I am old and I can assure you that the interpretation you shared with us is absolutely correct I believe that I have usually been a fairly positive individual, but I have had my misgivings about everything, from the past to the future. Now I finally realize the wisdom of living and appreciating the present Not only does this save a great deal of aggravation in Life, but it makes our lives so much easier and simpler. By freeing oneself of this awful striving for something more, we are finally free to love and appreciate all we have in the present. Sadly though, I think our present Western society (and probably others) urges us to acquire more and more ad infinitum. I have now stopped this way of thinking and feel finally at peace with my Life, past and future. Thank you for your confirmation.

They don't want you to know because the church is all about "we are your gateway to God". If more people knew this, the pope would be completely irrelevant and the church would crumble.

The verses mean "live in the present". A few years ago, I was confronted and attacked by a thug with a knife who was determined to kill me because I was the lone witness to an abduction he was in the process of committing. I managed to fight him off without being too seriously injured. After I realizing how close to being murdered I had been, I started telling people I loved how much I loved them. I realized that living in, and enjoying, the present is important because I might not have a future. That Attack changed my life for the better.

4:13- the interpretation "he will be astonished, and he will rule over the ALL," should read "he will be astonished, and he will govern Infinity." This is another tenet of the Law of Attraction: when we align, we control the energies that manifest galaxies. There is no need to "rule over all" when we ALL are ONE! Edit: we have been conditioned to believe that sacrificing our happiness now will lead us to eternal bliss after we die. It's time to break that conditioning.

There is good and evil in every single one of us. Yes, some people are more evil or good than others but the point is we are a collective organism known as humanity and are therefore all one.

People seem to forget that the “sacred” books are all based on ancient texts. They do have historical value. When you look at the books across the board, and compare the Sumerian texts, there are consistencies - the giants - the floods - the beings from the sky - the wars - the end days - they ALL have these teachings.

What ´s interesting about it is that almost two thirds of its contents are written down in the so called "official gospels". Let us not forget, it was emperior Constantin along with the "founding fathers of the catholic church" who "decided" what scriptures to include and which to exclude.

I love your thoughts on this, I've been a Christian since I can remember but I was told what man wanted me to hear it's beautiful to see someone speaking on God's genuine word, these people don't realize the min they take away from His word especially entire gospels, it is the minute they lose. It causes so much confusion for those who really want to learn God's word

I did a partial degree in world religions at University, I only did 2 years of a 4 year course but what I took away from my course was that most religions basically say the same thing. I'm glad I've found your channel, I believe I'll find it interesting.

This is what preach to my kids!! Exactly what I preach. Yesterday is history, and tomorrow is a mystery. Live for the moment. GOD is in you, and everything around you. You only learn from the things you know. 😉.

Love this one! I wish you’d do a video on the book of Enoch. The more “enlightened” I become and the deeper I go into the rabbit hole of self development I actually become more religious again, I also was “forced” to grow up Christian and fell out of it. Also a lot of this rediscovered love of God happened post 2020, as you could openly see the global deception and devil working through his disciples.

I'm an omniest every religion has some truth but only a true relationship with Christ is the truth there is no religion in a relationship with heavenly father 🙏 love what you're doing and as a brother in Christ keep speaking the Gospel 🙏

I completely agree I grew up very Christian & in church every Sunday as well, however also got to experience faith from a different looking glass as a child as well I was in & out of foster care my entire child life & I witness my most pivotal moment at the age of 7yrs old. The foster home my sister & I were in took us to her church’s summer camp & baptized us this happened in a lake… upon looking back at this time of my life I realized it was my 1st time with connection to God. After the baptism, my sister & I got separated atleast not sure what happened she still at camp but they never let us sit together however taught us to meditate & visualize! I remember being around 4 elderly ladies very cheerful bunch they were always around including for meals the day after the baptism we were in the Rec hall for lunch I do believe. We were sitting at a table close to the door, this lady walked in with 2 blackened eyes I immediately felt sympathy in my heart, then heard a voice telling to go pray for her this was my very first experience hearing God. I told the ladies at the table what had just happened they said it was God & I should listen so I got up to pray for this lady & starting speaking in tongues/light language the next day she was healed she had an condition that was causing blackness around her eyes, & after God worked through me this lady was healed! I mention this story from my past not only because it was a pivotal moment but also because I do believe this was a gnostic church camp we were brought to

Clark, just one more thing: Why didn't Church leaders accept these 12 pages of Thomas gospel? My interpretation: Where wiuld it be the power of the Church if people understood they were connected with God and not feeling anxiety, poverty, lack of love? Once people feel connected to God, they are inspired, full of life, and they are love 💛

In Hinduism too it is believed that if you know yourself you will get enlightenment

Gnostics were an early cult. The Gospel of Thomas is a Gnostic gospel, which means, it is not authentic Christianity. Nag Hammadi is Gnostic literature! Again, not Christian. Gnosis means means secret knowledge. Christians do not possess secret knowledge, we shout the Gospel from the house tops.

Good word! Not enough people know about the gospel of Thomas. Thank you so much for making that information available. I would give you 50 thumbs up if there were that many thumbs 😊

The lost gospels were left out but if you read them you will quickly realise that this was done as an attempt to create a consistent message. The set of original Gospels create so many contradictions and inconsistencies that there would be never ending theoological arguments and divisions that would prevent a unified church from establishment. We can see inconsistencies even in the approved gospels which cause argument but nothing like those in the 'lost gospels'.
