‘Love’ is also found in the Christian mystics, e.g. Meister Eckhart (as Rupert Spira discusses elsewhere) and of course in Rumi. 🌿

It is the chatty egoic mind and memory that categorizes everything, thus separating you from me, black from white, from direct perception. Have you ever observed something for the 1st time? So nothing to compare it to or judge it by, just pure observation and wonder. The 2nd time one see's it we go into memory and recognize it. So now we are looking with the past and can project into the future, but are no long "seeing" it in the now completely without the past or thought, thus limiting perception. Thought and memory has it's purpose, but not for where most use it. It is to remember a name, password, how to get home, our wisdom learned and such. This is probably why some Religions warn against "judging" as it brings us into duality, limits perception, lessens understanding and prevents love. Our non dual self is NOT what we are aware of whether this temporary physical body, a thought (when the thought stops, our AWARENESS does not stop), nor are we our chatty egoic mind or memory which is full of illusion, delusion and error. Some of the things we went through when younger were not seen wholistically and causes most to react without love to this day. Until your un-conscious becomes conscious, one will keep repeating this. We are existence, awareness and peace/bliss. But you can easily take away that peace/bliss by holding on to an emotion like anger or fear hours, days, weeks, months after the event. When one keeps thinking about it, you energize it and give it life within. This takes away one's peace of mind and affects your mood and those around you, it can raise your blood pressure, release negative hormones, and if done a lot lower one's resistance. Similarly if one creates a desire which advertisers love and does not get the desire, then they are unhappy. You did it to yourself. There was no one poking you in the eye to cause pain except your desire. Some of the happiest and most moral people I have ever met were semi poor and a few Priests. The trick is the chatty egoic mind cannot control the chatty egoic mind, but it can be observed and seen for what it is and put in proper order. The non dual self or spiritual self using the chatty egoic mind, memory and temporary physical body as needed. Most are ran by their chatty egoic mind, memories and physical desires. The word apple is not the actual apple, and the word repeated is not the actual but points to something for limited communication, so I am trying to be careful using them. Do you know why many who practice meditation to achieve the non dual state often observe their breathing? Because one's breathing is in the NOW and exercises OBSERVATION rather than the chatty egoic mind and memory. It also slows down one's breathing as does slow deep breathing which has an affect of calming the mind and thoughts. One's breath is also what connects one's eternal self with this temporary physical body.

We are all individuals and not only in looks but in the Source within Duality make up. That Duality make is Elements of the Universe having a symbiotic relationship with Biology. It is not your choice to love, it is simply the imprinted moral law of your Source within to acknowledge another Source for the Source's very continuity for it and its host lineage. Due to individuality in looks purpose, it is for the Source within to recognise a suitable partner that is a compatible reproductive make up for a lineage and therefore avoid reproductive faults. The Source's imprinted knowledge does not recognise consciousness nor essence of things because the Source was Formed from matter not consciousness.
