The Hidden Deadly Sea Threat China Never Saw Coming

Ғылым және технология

Beneath the surface of the Pacific Ocean, a silent battle for underwater supremacy is unfolding. As China rapidly advances its capabilities by producing dozens of sophisticated unmanned submarines carrying lethal ordnance and sophisticated sensors, a new contender emerges from the depths to challenge the balance of power.
The Ghost Shark uncrewed submarine is Australia's answer to the growing underwater threat. This autonomous technological marvel is designed not just for exploration but as a critical piece of national defense, equipped to patrol, gather intelligence, and engage threats in ways previously imagined only in science fiction.
With state-of-the-art stealth technology, advanced sensory equipment, and potential offensive capabilities, the Ghost Shark represents a significant leap in ensuring regional security against the rising red menace.
Rumors of the Ghost Shark’s capacity to carry torpedoes for offensive operations and even serve as a mother ship to coordinate other uncrewed underwater vessels may turn the tide of the Pacific in the following months…

Of course this has happened but China is in for a truly rude awakening if they think that their boat or ships will not be taken any less seriously by western and allied nation Navies. Not only that but our Technological capability to be able to detect military grade radiation output from ANY vessel would easily make any modern Navy aware of the visual falsehood.

People need to understand that Australian is a huge continent with only 28m people, and a relatively small tax base. Put into perspective, that’s a population little more than greater London. People assume that just because it is a huge continent, that it also has a huge population. I saw a comment here that the poster could not understand why we weren’t a wealthier nation. I hope this puts some perspective to that question.

These videos always seem to be "padded" with a lot of repetition and generalized statements that don't contribute to the knowledge of the viewer. And some statements are questionable. Like for instance, I can buy that a UAV can operate at extreme depths, but to have longer duration than manned subs? Not likely. An atomic submarine (at the present time) requires a crew to maintain the powerplant. But in return it can operate submerged for months at a time. It is generally only limited by the food on board, since it can manufacture its own pure drinking water, oxygen, and electricity. The real drawback on the robot subs will be a limited power supply, and therefore range. The other difficulty will be communication while submerged.

If it is setting on the bottom of the ocean in a standby mode the amount of power it would be very little. We don’t know enough about the power unit it could make up 3/4 of it and it may not need to be powered up in full mode all the time when on a mission. A crewed ship would require power all the time. There is very little reason for it to surface. It is AI it should be capable of completing a mission by itself but if confirmation is required surfacing to receive an update.

How is it powered diesel electric? You don’t want a bunch of nuclear reactors floating around at sea unmanned. You start to get into floating nuclear bombs over to your enemies.

  • 20 күн бұрын

Electric. It's a fraction of the size of a manned submarine because most of the submarine hull is designed to accommodate people. It is a defensive submarine, which means it won't be deployed too far from a base. Australia is building nuclear submarines for further deployment.

Going there is signing your own country's death warrant. China already have more ships that the whole US, UK, Australia, Japan and New Zealand combined

China showed a mock-up of ghost bat after Australia unveiled a working prototype. China is way behind, and that's in the air. They are even further behind in submarines. China might build a mock-up of ghost shark, but it doesn't have the AI technology to power it. Where is the plane that China showed? It's doesn't exist because China doesn't have AI technology.

I think you should educate yourself and look up the AUKUS signatory in that it's creating the accessibility of Australian companies in conjunction with US and British tech to produce future high tech weapon systems for the western allied effort. Australian Universities have always produced high education levels with a high reputation of educating overseas nationalities. The Australian Ghost bat drone is on the reduced list that could take out the USAF fighter drone contract. I don't think you realise that Australia is a wealthy democratic first world nation, that has one of the highest standards of living in the world! and have always hit hard above their weight in past conflict's, fighting by side with the our Allies US and Great Britain since world war one. In WW2 they were the first country to turn back the Germans' in land warfare (Tobruk, North Africa) and the first country to turn back the Japanese on land in the Pacific at (Milne Bay, Papua New Guinea) punching way above their weight of a WW2 population of just 8 million. Then one can add Korea, Vietnam, Gulf wars 1 & 2, and support of many united nations efforts ........and yes Australia is a country that does not sit on the fence. In you saying "lol Australian weaponry" well not only we are capable of design and manufacture, but we also know how to use it!

Barely no one know MQ28A Ghost Bat drone we been seeing was just a test bed for it's AI capability and if it's airframe could hold up to real world conditions. Released few weeks ago was Australian Defence minister saying Block ii of Ghost Bat is being released and in service with RAAF 2025 and is a bigger version to carry more weapons. Australia also has world fastest scramjet engine at mach 12 and in 300 days test fly a hypersonic drone and these guys all helped USA in hypersonics in HIFIRE and SCIFIRE joint USA, Australia hypersonic tests...
