I think the reason why the cloud is too interested with byakugan and bijuu, Bcoz they have knowledge about the sage of six paths or otsutsuki clan. Gin and kinkaku are both otsutsuki descendants (both has horns) and possess sage ninja tools.. If they successfully get a byakugan, they might reveal the moon otsutsukis portal to the moon.

As a matter of fact, he’s the Third Mizukage of the Hidden Mist village, making him Yagura’s most recent predecessor. What they did in the rain village during war later slaughtering a village of innocents leading to the creation of the akatsuki. The uchiha massacre, that was ordered by the foundation a organization responsible for most of the leafs affairs, leading to our 3 uchihas we know and love leaving the village and being a massive problem to the ninja world, sasuke attacking the cloud, itachi spreading chaos all over the ninja world who we later found out he was working with the leafs foundation. And the list goes on of all of the harm the leaf did. They are easily the most shady and corrupt village in naruto.

​@LoopyLemon775 I'm just going to assume you both are trying to say "internal" not eternal. Innocents slaughtered in war happens all the time and happened all the time in the Naruto world. Most villages had been documented on this and if they wernt its widely assumed it happens since...well, that's war. It's shown how awful it can become with what plot they can. With that said, yeah Orochimaru should have had a tighter leash but theres info in ninja hand books about bow sly he was at his work and keeping it hidden and out of sighg. The Third had his suspicions, that honestly should have been more than that and maybe they were, but also was shown how much he wanted Orochimaru to be a good ninja. Loved him almost as a child and made it hard to not give him the benefit of doubt or at least, too many chances. It's explained in a human element and makes sense. I believe youd see that relationship all over in other nations as well. The Uchiha massacre for sure was a butterfly effect that lead to a lot of hateful consequences. But if you can group that on one instance or person why not go deeper/higher up? Danzo was responsible for that. You can make the argument that the villabe is liable by proxy since they harbored Danzo but thats a slippery slope of generalization that could nullify both of our points. Idk a bunch of villages did awful stuff, and it's a good example of a human element in war and greed. I wouldn't say the Leaf is the absolute worst by far by a long shot. I mean, with that logic you could make the argument that they inversely did the most benefit in providing the gods that saved everyone haha

The one who chased and killed the cloud ninja was Hinata's father (a member of the main branch) so the hidden cloud asked for his life in return for what he has done. Knowing that they only wanted to take his Byakugan so instead of sending Hiashi (Hinata's father )to the hidden cloud, they sent Hizashi(Neji's father, Hiashi's twin brother and a member of the side branch). Because all the members of the side branches has a curse seal that seals away the byakugan if the user dies or if it is taken.

@@Mr.BednaR You see that Jonin was in Konoha as a diplomatic envoy to sign a peace treaty. So it could be said he had diplomatic immunity. So Konoha would've had to prove to them that he had attempted to kidnap Hinata, which was impossible as Hiashi was the only witness and he killed him. So you killed our ambassador who was on a mission of peace, this is clearly an act of war. If it was an individual crime we demand you punish the criminal and deliver him to us as proof. So to maintain the peace they demanded his life and his body as proof. It was grimy as hell, but objectively a brilliant strategy. He either successfully kidnaps a Hyuga child that can't resist or gets a Hyuga adult whose eyes they can extract. Except they didn't know about the branch family system. Even without it, Hiashi could've been branded with the Cursed Seal before death.

When has Konoha ever killed someone because they became powerful? Suna only attempted to kill Gaara because Rasa was a horrible father who knew nothing about jinchuriki and was terrified he was going to go out of control and destroy the village. The Mist? The Kaguya clan? They actively attacked the village, basically an Uchiha coup attempt with no strategy or real purpose. The Yuki, Haku's clan? Haku's family lived in Land of Water, not in Kirigakure. They were lynched by normal civilians with a stupid grudge.

I would have loved to see a spin off anime with another village

The leaf is the Most corrupt village in the ninja world right besides the sound and Rain, -Producing most of the Akatsuki, in fact? Responsible for the existence of the akatsuki to begin with? -Letting orchimaru and sasuke 2 terroist roam free despite being a danger to everyone in the ninja world. -Everything involving the uchiha and the cover up of that incident. -And lastly the Foundation, foundation alone makes the leaf look evil? The cloud isn’t a perfect village 100 percent? But they are the least corrupted village and nation, the lack of akatsuki members being from the cloud is blatant proof, the reason why that’s such a flex for the cloud, is because most of the members of the akatsuki are a product of their villages corruption, the leaf, stone, sand, mist and rain, but no cloud? Sasuke, Orochimaru, Obito, and Itatchi. Konoha may have the most named people who joined the Akatsuki, but they didn't produce most of the Akatsuki. Less than half of the Akatsuki came from Konoha and one of them was a spy for Konoha inside the Akatsuki. Just because the Cloud doesn't have anyone that joined the Akatsuki doesn't automatically make them the least corrupt hidden village.

That’s 1 from the stone Sasori. Fugaku followed his orders dutifully during the attack. Plus, their guess of it being an Uchiha was still right no matter if they knew it or not. They went off of pure experience. No one else could control the 9 tails but an Uchiha or Hashirama. Hashirama had been gone for decades by that point so it only left the Uchiha. Kurama is the strongest tailed beast.

If Kishimoto really wanted to make a small story about somebody else from another village, I can guarantee he is going to pull all their dirt like he did with the leaf, that's good and nuance writing. Kishimoto showing the characters in a nuance way is GOOD writing, they are people and thus not perfect, even Naruto himself isn't perfect, and that's cool, because he is always trying to be and do better, it's not about using a jutsu and suddenly everything is fine, it's about building a path towards a better future that matters most.

Not sure why you showed the 3rd raikage when you said the head cloud ninja died trying to kidnap hinata because the 3rd raikage himself wasn’t the one who died trying to kidnap hinata. In fact if he was the one who tried to kidnap her then he would have succeeded initially and beaten her father easily however he wouldn’t have made back to the village because he would have been confronted and beaten by the 3rd hokage. People can say what they want about him and how he allowed the miss treatment of Naruto but one thing that can never be denied is that 3rd hokage was the strongest kage out of all them and that includes the 3rd raikage even at the age the 3rd hokage was at the time of hinata kidnapping he was still the strongest Kage and he would win but it’s also likely he could’ve died from injuries after winning because the 3rd Raikage wasn’t weak by any measure of the imagination.

The cloud is nowhere near as bad as the leaf? The leaf is the most corrupt village in all of naruto the cloud is at the bottom of the list when it comes to corruption and evil

Because they want power…like most of the villages in naruto aside from the leaf, The stone and mist tried to take Rin a hidden leaf jinchuriki for power, Also using the akatsuki as mercenaries against other villages ect The sand sided with the sound and tried to overthrow the leaf. The leaf has the foundation…that should be enough to tell you how corrupt They truly are if you know what the foundation is all about.
