The hidden beauty of pollination | Louie Schwartzberg
Ғылым және технология
www.ted.com Pollination: it's vital to life on Earth, but largely unseen by the human eye. Filmmaker Louie Schwartzberg shows us the intricate world of pollen and pollinators with gorgeous high-speed images from his film "Wings of Life," inspired by the vanishing of one of nature's primary pollinators, the honeybee.

I don't know why this hasn't reached million views. This is amazing! The story, the cinematography, the overall content - it makes you see the hidden world! This deserves a credit!
How beautiful is life! The earth is realy magical if you open your eyes, amazing. Thank you for the beautiful message and video!
I also felt got my eyes umid. Beautiful and so very important for us all to learn the obvious: we all are nature. We need to protect what surround us to protect ourselves.
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!! A reminder that always touches my heart and my soul that we are all in this together. Nothing is bigger or smaller, better or worse, it just is, following its path of Divine expression. Many blessings!
This is absolutely beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. They were all great and I knew I loved those little bees and to watch that one just make himself a little mess in getting pollen was just so sweet.

I agree. The film is amazing, and the part with the little bees was among my favourites too. I have one small correction - making *her*self a little mess in getting pollen - agreed that it was very sweet. All of the worker bees are females ;-). The females are also the only ones with stingers. The wonders of nature, eh? :D
Oh Thank you Louie Schwartzberg, you've really made my day! This is amazing!!! Thank you for showing one of the primary importance for the nature, and in itself for all of us, with a really great thought, and thank you for the Incredible beauty of this images.
1080p would look pretty mesmerizing with shots like these. Wow, look at that bat carrying the baby. Oh and I loved the shot with the spider and the Hummingbird at 3:45, that's one of the prettiest things just barely escaping from one of the scariest things. Overall I'm not sure I'd call myself an environmentalist, but this did give me some wonder and awe about nature.
This should be uploaded in HD! The captured videos are incredible, a must watch for everyone. The things we've never seen, presented in a beautiful mesmerizing way.
So beautiful! THANK YOU!
This beautiful video makes it clear to us how beautiful nature is. We should think about preserving it.
This movie would look incredible at 4K and highest frames possible.
Beautiful! Made me cry a little bit.
Absolutely incredibly breathtaking... And only a millisecond of showing nature on this incredible planet that we have had the sheer luck to have as our home.
The guy at the end is like oh I better stand!
Thanks to director Louis Schwarzberg, for his amazing film showing pollination of plants around the world in slow motion. For those who, like me, wondered why cacti have such large and beautiful flowers, be sure to look at the pictures of bats pollinating cacti. A truly exciting movie!
Truly spectacular footage... so incredibly beautiful.

Cool video ‘It reminds us we are part of nature and that were not separate from it.’
Muting the video and watching that time lapse with Last Walk Around Mirror Lake Boards of Canada remix makes for pure wonder, and a stranger feeling.
Incredible!
.....is it just me or....did the Bird and the Bee just dance together? This is beautiful.
Ive seen many beautiful "things" in my life, nothing comes close to this! ...This has moved me to tears, once again. ;o))) To any children or adults who hate insects, before you stand on them or squat them....THINK AGAIN!

It's amazing! We live in this beautiful world and do not care about all the beauty. This video shows the smallest part of the beauty that surrounds us. We need to preserve this charm of the world. We must take care of nature and protect it. Thank you for watching this great video.

I wish I could see that movie.
If it couldn't have reached a million views. It's not because I haven't watched it at least a 1000 times
3:23 really nice intro
Brilliant from 3.15 on - Talk at the start is a bit silly, but well worth hanging on for the film.
the music in this amazing does anyone know what the songs are that are used in this!!! the time lapse is also incredible!!
☆ ★ ☆ AMAZING ☆ ★ ☆
Louie when will the Moving ART compilations that are showing on Netflix be available for sale as a DVD?
thank you our divine energy source ✨
nice video
according to imdb the name of the documentary isn't "wings of life" but "Hidden Beauty: A Love Story That Feeds the Earth"
If you play his video while listening to, "The Halo 3 Warthog Run" song it makes it much more intense!
@mazdaplz Both spellings are correct, although pollinization first appeared a bit earlier than pollination. And according to my UK English spellcheck, pollination is the spelling used in British English.
Well done, love it! God’s beautiful creatures!!
Porque nós protegemos aquilo que nos apaixonamos
My Fav 3:20 time lapse footage. Wish it was filmed in 1080p HD.
The world is an amazing place. This is proof of that.
Why isn't this episode of TED in HD? I'm going to have to track down and buy that film.
I've seen some TED talks that were in HD. Why the hell isn't THIS one?! :-(

@cristoretornebiblia which one?
I'd like to know what the music is, anyone know the title?
wow, this is amazing stuff; macrophotography AND slo-mo! Also, as a previous commenter suggested, do yourself a favor and go to 3:15. I probably wouldn't have stuck around that long...
This video needs to be 1080p!!!
Thank you. #EarthDay
"It's like the canary in the coal mine - If they disappear, so do we". I can't help but think that he has slightly misunderstood his own simile.
This beauty can't ever come from randomness......No way
@SteffenAaskoven thanks
Achoo!
