Hey, did you know that there might be a significant reason why Carla is associated with a rubber duck? In coding, there's a technique called "rubber ducking" that is used by coders who are stuck when developing code. Basically, the coder acquires an actual rubber duck, names it, and when a coding bug arises, the coder will tell the duck aloud the coding problem. The weird reason why this works is because usually saying the coding problem aloud to someone or something gives the coder a eureka moment where they realize what they've been doing wrong, and using an inanimate object is an easy way to prevent the coder from constantly bugging other coders. I have a feeling that Carla's rubber duck was likely used by her because she would talk to it when she had bugs to work out in the games. This is probably symbolism for Carla too, as Lionel could speak to her about his coding/ problems in a similar fashion so that he can realize what he was doing wrong (such as the moment when Lionel says that Carla was his only friend and that he realized how wrongly he treated her after he spoke to her one final time) or because Carla used the rubber duck when Lionel wouldn't speak to her because he was too busy ego tripping or whatever.

Knowing how Lionel made Reggie after his Grandpa makes the ending much more depressing. Dude cared about Reggie and gets murdered by his own creation

Crazy how Daniel Mullins managed to connect all 3 of his games that seemingly have nothing to do with each other together in some way or another. This game has several Pony Island references in it, which probably aint just for shits and giggles because it's somewhat implied that demonic forces, hell, maybe even *_Lucifer himself_* had a hand in Sado's creation. Not to mention GameFuna, a fictional company that might as damn well be the big bad of Inscryption, is mentioned SEVERAL times throughout the game, be it by Irving when talking to Chef Bryce at the end of the Cooking Granny segment, or by the negative reviews seen in Super Weasel Kid 09'. Speaking of Inscryption, Beneath the Surface, a game that was a key component to unlocking the Hex's secret ending, also just so happens to be a key component to Inscryptions ARG, which means Carla APARENTLY has some sort of connection to GameFuna, and jesus christ what the HELL is happening with this lore.

If you're watching this vid, I assume that you don't need spoiler warnings at this point but here's one anyway: Spoiler warning for the whole game below: Lionel may have been an asshole egoistical game dev, but he certainly didn't deserve to be murdered for what happened to his characters. He didn't know they were alive and he definitely had no idea how Irving and Gameworks in general would treat those characters. The fact that that his very first game character (who he couldn't bear to delete himself because Reggie was made based on his grandpa) is the one who would kill Lionel with his own bare hands, is really tragic. Even worse, Lionel's narcassitic ramblings in Walk could be his famous last words. That's a horrible way to go.

if im not mistaken, when the legend of zela/mana game tanked, he stole his employee's penchants and moved to the desert. He was a typical CEO. so yeah, he got what he deserved; death is the only consequence money can't get you out of.

​@@eattherich5409 To be fair, he was tricked into a Faustian bargain as a teenager. It's no wonder he ended up how he did. He literally sold his soul to the devil, even if he didn't realize it at the time, by selling his work to GF. Now he's dead and a schizophrenic mime-clown character with actual demon powers has become quite literally realized.

Great compilation! There are loads more too. Paradise Island, Beneath the Surface, all the other cards, as well as the Oracle who reads the cards.

@@abrahamyanes2405 IIRC, there is a dumb easter egg that shows a fake holiday postcard from "Paradise Island", parodying Pony Island. I believe that this was something hidden inside the configuration files for the game that people found during the whole ARG game. Surprisingly, I can't find anyone talking about it online, it's probably only documented on the game's Discord.

I can't believe the creator developed two entirely different games, with one just for completing the plot Very ARG-ish

Full Truth is actually pretty straightforward - you just need to talk to the cat on the magic carpet 3 times across the Super Weasel Kid game in the beginning. The first time is easy, the second and third are a bit more tricky to find.

out of all these the only thing i found on my own was ignoring the computer in walk, and that was because you get a hint from someone earlier in the game, i never did down+b. really really hope this game gets some retroactive hype from inscryption because this was just as good.

Even after watching all of the in-game secrets strewn about for the ARG, I am STILL confused why System/Satantech is involved after Pony Island. They don’t even seem to be connected to GameFuna or the Gameworks Engine!

In Pony Island, you play a Roman Emperor or something in Purgatory, Basically meaning that video-games are rooted to evil. Humans developped a lot of them, some are cursed, This Trilogy (Pony Island, The Hex & Inscyption) basically retraces the story of the very first root of Evil in Games or something, we know very little for now !

I’m honestly still trying to connect the dots myself, but I can confirm a few things. Pony Island was made by Lucifer, and he had protectors to make sure that the souls trapped within were to never break free. Azazel, Beelzebub and Asmodeus were the protectors of the three core files. The only connection I can grasp aside from the easter egg of Asmodeus doing a vibe check as shown at 5:40 is that there’s a hidden audio in Pony Island where it says “His father, pure evil”, which also happens to be referenced here. GameFuna’s CEO is named Lou Natas, but the last name translates to something else if you flip it. I can’t tell if Satan and Lucifer are supposed to be the same being in this universe and I want to say that they might not be? Otherwise the “his father, pure evil” message wouldn’t make much sense. Either way, there is definitely some work of the devil being involved in all the in-game universes. How Gameworks has any ties to all of this? I’m still not entirely sure WHO made Gameworks, but at the very least, I know that the Gameworks Assistant, Irving knows of GameFuna, and was actually a helping hand in the development of Inscryption. I can’t tell if he works alongside GameFuna or is just another pawn/tool, but that’s all I can glean from the clues I was able to gather. If I’m going to be honest, all of this still isn’t pieced together for me but these games are definitely all connected. I just have yet to understand who exactly is on one side and who is on the other and what their motives are. It’s all very confusing to me even still

@@PorkiFerret well, in pony island there is a secret, if you change a certain value from a 1 to a 2 it... (SPOILERS OR SOMETHING I GUESS??) That lucifer is the lost soul, plus all the facts about "you" don't actually add up, so yeah by deleting pony island you freed lucifer himself! Hip-hip-hooray for you!

Well M.C. Serum stands fir Mind Control Serum. And since there were 7 spider-bots(or what do you call them?) in that room... I think Reggie used it on all six main characters and Jeremiah so they help him to make his revenge. So no solution to that room, it's just another piece of lore

Ok, ocupas también hacer 2 cosas en anteriores juegos, ocupas primero en combat arena cuando luchas contra un personaje de super weasel kid, hay unos lentes a su lado y los debes recoger, después en secrets of legendaria debes comprar los lentes en la tienda creo que después de matar al dragón y después de comprar los lentes dárselos al mecánico, después de eso los lentes aparecerán para comprarse en la tienda en waste world, ademas que si continuas de haber comprado los lentes te ayudara con otro logro

ademas si no mal recuerdo son 3 tiendas, una al inicio, solo tienes que ir para abajo, la segunda despues de la parte del alijo, y la tercera en el boss rush.
