It's not the use but the abuse, need and control of alcohol that makes it harmful.

@@jeremiash5180if you’re unaware of other peoples weaknesses that are in your presence perhaps abstaining would be a better idea. In the time of Jesus your social circle would have consisted of your immediate and extended family members who you knew very personally and a very close business partner or patron. So you would have been aware of any temptations they might be facing. Not so much today in our casual society. 🤍

A person doesn't have to choose the lesser of evils. Creation and Divinity are served by religion. Intoxicant use should not be pursued by the governments, if kept to themselves and not somehow forced on others. It is important to admit that even sin has its benefits.

U cannot progress after death to the higher realms of spritual evolution if u die drunk or drug addicted.you cannot serve god and mammon.he who cannot be truated in small things will not be given great things of the spirit.
