I have to agree. People have been thinking that Jokic was just pretending to be disinterested in casual, but Jokic last night came into a high pressure Game 5 and dropped 40 points, 13 assists, and zero turnovers, almost as if to show us that yes, he really does have another gear he can shift into.

Jordan dominated the league during his time when he was clearly and by a large measure better than the second best player. Magic and Bird never were that clearly the best player like that because they both played at the same time and neither one of them was by a large measure better than the other. Lebron was never clearly that much better than other players and arguably not even the best player at a time when Kobe, Duncan, Steph, and KD were in their primes. Jokic has potential to be clearly and by a large measure the best player of this time in a way similar to Jordan was to his time.

Lebron always needs two all stars. Jordan only needs one semi Allstar and one rebound defense guy

Rachel, 3 MVP races that weren't close? He stole one from Embiid I believe his first mvp, maybe his second. This year Embiid was the clear favorite before he got hurt. Rudy Gobert cant guard a parked car and yet he keeps winning this thing like he's a generational talent. AD has more blocks, and can guard one through 5. They're putting too much on team success. Minnesota's team all guard well, that's why they've had success. AD was almost the only defender the Lakers had. He covered up for those bad defenders with his help defense and rim protection. When he didn't play, the Lakers were completely mediocre apart from the one game where everyone was hot from three and beat Boston without LeBron and AD. Rudy didn't play the second game against Denver and they actually played better. So how much is he really impacting his team?
