Remember kids. There’s a lot of fancy shmancy fangled engines out there. Twin scroll turboed, smaller displacement, hybrid tech, less cylinders, battery, combos of the above. But in the end, keep it simple. A cross plane 2 valve in block V8 is all you need to start off with. After that, add the power adder of your choice. Hennessy did this right. 👍💪🇺🇸🦅

Gentlemen, the reality is that American cars are now destroying Japanese and European car manufacturers. That's why in 8 years over 100,000 hellcats have been built and sold. Now you see the same with the new Z06, which is an absolute weapon.

It's crazy because it has pushrods and a cross plane crankshaft but yet turns 8500rpm like a flat plane crank dohc engine. That's insane!

Has tie bar style Johnson lifters, high end dual valve springs or Katech style honeycomb style valve springs and a decent size cam as well as a sick intake aluminum manifold, massive throttle body/ies and high flowing ported and polished heads. That’s all it takes to rev that high on a pushrod motor with a cross plane crank in a nutshell of course. The real trick is getting it to not drive like shit at lower RPMs

It looks nice but to me it has a feeling of being an overpriced kit car, they just dont have good marketing for the brand and they don't feel like there gonna be reliable and keep its value compared to other cars in ita proce range, it also looks and sounds like it belongs on thw track only. Its too loud and too low. But it does have a nIce body shape and styling for a track car. Edit- i still cant believe that its normal these days for 20 people to follow a car with there phone like zombies lol
