Brilliant! Very dark, as dark as night, as dark as pitch, but a full moon guides you ... into the light

Lol shut up
cant get any better ..
I sometimes play my jaw harp along with this.
Love the mix of banjo, mandolin, acoustic guitar, pedal steel. Reminds me of the new riders of the purple sage. But better, alot of textures, laid back, good string instruments. Even piano a string instrument, a hammer stricking a string. As far as the dark, helps to see light. Laughter after the rain. Without the rain, no life, no rainbow.
This LP is majestic 💫
Need more of this. Simply perfect
Super
This is the best album ever.

Linda Norris! I love my western wear also. Whenever I go out I wear one of my two fringe jackets, my multicolored Laredo cowboy boots, my turquoise colored, silver buckled belt and a western style shirt. Accessories, of course, to match...

This doesn't look like psychedelic - these are just ballads but are very good.

Somehow, I think 'Into the Earth' is a song that probably shouldn't have been written. Its about a coward man who lacked the courage to face his own fallibility so he killed another person. Its not a topic that needs to be celebrated. His lament that he is left to deal with the sadness is hardly relevant. But I m pretty sure that's a point both the 'hero' and the songwriter will never understand. Curious morality expressed in these songs. It seems in the songwriter's world, its OK if HE kills his wife, but nobody else better do it or else it justifies him going on a killing spree. He really is a real he-man. Primitive soul - he has a long, long way to go. I pity him and those in his world.

I feel that you are right, in parts. But I believe that the idea of The Heavy Horses songs is to convey this bad feeling of sadness and hopelessness and Into the Earth manages to do that well. At least it does for me.

@@joaoweslley6383 the musicality is good but the lyrics are poor. There is no indication that the singer condemns the guys behaviour. It sounds too self-serving and indulgent in the violence. It's a poorly written song that would have been better never being performed.
