Lol! He was good try though.. I mean it was a good version but Gary doesn’t bring that heart wrenching emotion like Vince. Just like God Bless the Broken road. No one else can do that without being compared

Her voice is so distinctive. Vince sings good but Reba has the most distinctive.

Honestly, I think this song will always belongs to Vince Gill and Reba McEntire. The fact that he has a very clear tone and soulful voice 🔥 Rascal Flatts’s My wish and Bless the broken road are two of my favorites. They’re both great musician

Gary LeVox does an admirable job, but he doesn't quite compare to Vince Gill & his version of this song with Reba. Interesting tidbit; Vince wasn't the original intended to be Reba's duet partner on "The Heart Won't Lie." Kenny Rogers was. I read a quote from Reba wheres she said she & Kenny didn't quite harmonize well enough. No such issues with her & Vince, obviously. One of the greatest country duets ever.

No competition! I love Rascal Flatts, but Vince Gill really did do it better. Plus, LeVox uses too many unnecessary flourishes in his singing. Simple is best.

The Academy of Country Music Awards sucks. The Country Music Association awards are better. the reason why I think the academy sucks is because all they do is give out too many useless awards like new male vocalist, new female vocalist and new vocal Duo group along with milestone awards and Artist of the Decade. For me what makes an award show good as when you do not have a lot of categories. that's why I think the association is better than the academy because they don't have they don't give out useless Awards, the academy does that. Besides the purpose of the Country Music Association 1958 is to promote the genre of country music. The purpose of the Academy of Country Music 1958 is to promote country music in the 13 states west of Texas Oklahoma Kansas Nebraska and The Dakotas, since their 50th award show was held in Texas. I'm aware that the ACM was the first to have a country music award show so if you like country music like me I say ditch the academy and support the association. Plus when you think about it the academy selects people that the fans would select.
