I am the mother of a 53 y/o CHD survivor. This documentary is marvelous and a good instrument to get the information out to the public. I know if many of my son's friends see this, they too will be interested along with family members who have been along for the ride for all these many years. Thank you so much for producing this. It certainly gives me more knowledge to explain CHD to my own friends who ask about it, or who would be interested.

I wish my husband had see this before he past away in 2010! This the first video I see someone so old had lived past 45 years. I am grateful I had the time I did with my loved one!

thank you so much for this viedo, I am a mother to my first born son who has HRHS (Hipoplastic right heart syndrome) i must say it's a battle every day, he already had his first stage of the norwood procedure at 3 weeks of birth he is now going on 2 month's and is a stong little heart warrior and i thank god every day that gos by for my little warrior ❤

I am one of those young adults who survived SCHD, and unfortunately I lost two very dear friends who shared similar conditions along the way, each was barely 7 years old. One of the few positive things that can potentially come out of such devastating grief, is a commitment to do all you can so that another set of parents, siblings, and friends do not have to lose someone that they love the way that you did. I world in which CHD and Asplenia are no-longer considered a potential death sentence is a world that is worth fighting for.

I am one of those young adults with CHD. I am a CHD warrior! I have TOF/APV. Over the last several months I have continued to take a turn for the worse. I am lucky to have my pediatric cardiology team who is willing to fight to keep me alive., and not giving up on me. I am some what stable with medication to help my heart.I know how lucky I am to be alive every day. It's a battle every day, but I will keep fighting. CHD will not beat me!

@@n3on359 I am doing ok. I am somewhat stable at this point in time. I am still struggling with some issues that my team is trying to figure out. Once things calm down with the pandemic I will be seeing the genetic specialist because my primary care doctor and my pediatric ophthalmologist are pretty sure I have a genetic disorder. I still have good days and bad days. My team is just telling me to take things one day at a time. The medications I am on are keeping me somewhat stable. My heart function has improved. My three nephews keep me going. They are the reason that I fight so hard.

Awesome!!! The only thing not mentioned is Adult Congenital Heart Association and Mended Little Hearts. They provide support for adults with chd and families of children and adults with chd, respectively.

Terribly sorry for your loss. CHD changed our family’s life too… our warrior is still here, by nothing short of a miracle… but I’m so well aware that there’s one test, one stitch, one heartbeat between your experience and mine. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
