Irwin is so haunted lol. I saw a ghost girl and boy and they confirmed this when I described them by the stares in the main office building/restaurant...but the house I stayed in was crazy active...knocks, taps, footsteps, full body apparition, disembodied voices/humming ..smells. there are 3 or 4 old houses that make up the inn complex. The apparition of the woman that I saw turned out to be the owner who liked to hum while working I was told by staff. She had died fairly recently at the time, this was over 3 years ago when I was there.

When I was filming there, a former cook stopped me before I went in. He worked there for a few years and said all kinds of things happening there. The owner invited me back. Hopefully soon. I went over to the Sarah Mooney house in Lemoore after I left. That place is freaking awesome. The to the Lemoore Cemetery where I found her grave. I love that whole area. so much haunted history.

@@modestoca25 I contacted them and they knew I was coming. I do think they are open for tours, just limited times.
Just came upon this you tube spot about the haunted Erwin St. Inn. I lived in this house long before they added the other houses. There was a 4 car garage where some of the houses are now. I can tell you it is haunted not in a bad way never feared it when we lived there. We would hear people walking upstairs when we were home downstairs watching tv. Music played sometimes out of nowhere. Always the scariest house on the block at Halloween and we didn’t even decorate.

I remember looking out the car window and seeing this place as a little kid, cool to see what’s in it

I believe it!
There's more history to this. Some of the 2nd floors were houses moved from other sites. The bottom was constructed & the old houses placed on top of the new first floor. I've eaten there a number of times in the past and the stairs creak with footsteps going up & down. Investigate further at the library and Carnegie if they are open. THATS another creepy location, especially the basement

That is very Interesting! Yeah I think that whole town has some kind of activity. The Bastille, the Fox theatre and the Old Veterans building I'm sure is haunted. I can't wait to come back and stay a few days and hopefully Investigate and do some filming.

I was told that as well, the upper floors were older homes moved to the location.

That is awesome, did you know the former cook I was talking to in the beginning. He said he worked there for years.
I miss the town but not the memories
