Have you been eating a dangerous dose of poison without even knowing it?!
Chances are your food is packed with far more than just nutritional value.
Since the 1970s, we've seen a huge increase of a herbicide called glyphosate on our food crops - scientists estimate that over 150,000 tonnes are sprayed annually across America!
The amount of this herbicide used on agricultural crops has increased about 100-fold since it was first introduced in 1974, and 70% of Americans today have glyphosate showing up in their urine - yikes!
Is this widespread use of glyphosate something we should be worried about?
Why have
many countries in Europe banned or heavily restricted the use of glyphosate?
And why is the science behind this chemical so murky?
If you’re ready to get the lowdown on glyphosate, this week's video is your go-to crash course for understanding this pervasive chemical. We'll explore its potential impacts, from body and brain health to longevity-and then finish up with some useful tips to keep yourself from harm.
Tune in for a wild ride and get ready to unearth everything there is to know about this murky mystery that might just surprise you...

Thank you for shining light on this important issue!! I’ve known of glyphosate for years, as i read / listen to scientific articles… when I worked as a nurse i’d ask every pt who had lymphoma if they’d been exposed to glyphosate and all admitted that yes, they’d worked with it in their past. I have friends whose dogs died of lymphoma and i asked if they’d sprayed roundup in their yards and yes, they had! Very scary! I try to eat all organic and don’t use any chemicals in my garden, yard or house, but I’m sure I’m still exposed to the glyphosate that’s everywhere now . Wish there was something that could reverse bad effects in our bodies. Thanks again for bringing attention again to this horrible chemical!

Great presentation that I'll keep for reference. I've read that Non-GMO doesn't mean Glyphosphate free. Also, even organic products may have some Glyphosate present. Personally, I'm interested in which wine, beer and spirits are adulterated. Glyphosphate is used as a drying agent for wheat and other grains. I've seen a table testing about 20 beers and the results are disheartening. Any further references or thoughts?

Unfortunately, organic labels still have glyphosate added. Especially wheat and grain in the US. The only way to avoid glyphosate in the US is to stop consuming American wheat and grain. I buy my flour and bread products from a European grocery store near my house.

Some foods that are labeled Non-GMO are still sprayed with glyphosate as a drying agent. My friend is hyper-sensitive to it and only buys organic. She has still reacted and after testing, discovered this to be true.

Thank you for sharing your insight. Your friend's experience with glyphosate sensitivity and the necessity to choose organic foods is understandable. Organic certification standards typically prohibit the use of synthetic pesticides, including glyphosate. However, there are still possibilities of cross-contamination and other factors that might lead to trace amounts of glyphosate in organic products. Regular testing and thorough research are essential to ensure the purity of the food consumed. It's also important to always consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice and testing if you suspect chemical sensitivities or other health issues.

Sodium chlorite oxidizes glyphosate. However I don't know if this can do anything about the glycine substitution that happens when glyphosate encodes into the proteins.

Hi managing glyphosate's effects, including its potential impact on proteins, is complex. Exploring natural detox methods, like increasing our intake of nitrate-rich vegetables (e.g., arugula, spinach, beets) to support the body's detox processes, can be beneficial.

@@GoodnessLover Eating carotenoid rich foods like spinach and beets would not be advised as glyphosate disables the liver CYP26 enzymes needed for their conversion which ultimately leads to hypervitaminosis A.

@@GoodnessLover It cost me 8 years of my life living with undiagnosed intracranial hypertension from "vitamin" A. I've never supplemented with A in my life however eating low A has allowed me to recover quite rapidly this past year. I point the finger for this squarely at glyphosate poisoning.
