Love this game. Spent a couple of months ranked #1 in the world, online, a couple of years after release. Definitely used Ali a bunch, and I can confirm he is a beast. So many fights. So much fun. Cheers to you for playing a classic!

The hardest achievement in fight night champion and probably in all the games is to get a tko stoppage aka doctor stoppage in normal owc online not bare knuckles online good video keep the good work up

They should have took more time with the game it’s too cartoonish and you can just spam certain moves to break the block

That Xbox UI takes me way back.

i played this game so much back in the day that Goat difficulty was my normal choice and i won most of the time. i find lennox and ali are the hardest characters to fight against.

You can actually turn the punch output and speed down in the options and it makes it much easier

I noticed the bully boxing song hahahah awesome game

i'm not trying to brag but this franchise is my favorite of all time I was never a gaming fan but got hooked on the Fight Night series it was all I would play I got so good in these games god is my witness I was able to pick the weakest boxer against the strongest one in the hardest level and beat them with one hand especially fight night champion the key to this was focusing to the body drain their stanima parrying and hit the body

fair play mate! I used to play a bit when I was younger but normal was hard enough. Did you ever play online?

Round 4 is the best. As far as corner points, once I figured how to be accurate, I would be so choosy with my punches to the point where I'd get points for having 70-80% accuracy. I'd play the long game and I' have so many points left over, all my bars would be full. I knew Lewis wouldn't be a good choice, but also, I never did the Ali challenge lol to be able to win rounds with accuracy and play the long game.

I faced off against Ali in legacy mode GOAT difficulty in Champion , was winning the fight till the last round he caught me with a punch that triggered the knockout animation 😤

Before making the video I'd seen on a forum post that servers had been taken down for both PS3 + 360 making the trophies/ achievements unobtainable but according to people in the comments it's just the PS3 version that had it's servers taken down.

I’d recommend grinding the online trophies first incase servers go down soon, there’s a glitch for online that stops the AI from trying to take you down which makes the grind to 150 a little more bearable. If you search the forums on PSNProfiles for the game you should find it. For legendary mode the only way you get better is playing against harder opponents, I’d choose jiu jitsu or wrestling for your base and pick heavyweight as not many submission specialists and most will want to stand with you. I think if you close the app when you lose you can retry the fight, good luck!

i remember getting this achievement and my cousins where watching. i used Tyson. We ended up fighting each other with me using Tyson and him using Ali. We fought 2 wars that went the distance but i won both. i played him once with Ali and demolished him in 1 round 😆

Let’s all be fr Tyson would crush Ali but he would have to catch Ali first because Ali was fast

Its relatively easy, just set the fight to one round then you just have to get a lucky round in

I beat ali, tyson, holyfield, manny with roy jones on champion lol

Don't throw any power punches, slip often, counter often, pick your shots and don't press an engagement until they've missed a few shots and then get out. Repeat until knock out. Ali is a little more difficult, he doesn't gas out as fast. Pick someone that doesn't cut easy, and has reasonable speed and chin. Honestly, Tyson was difficult because of his speed and power. He gasses out pretty quick, but if you're not careful and he puts hands on you in the first 3 rounds he can flash you out of nowhere.

Is the hud and menus different from ps to Xbox mine look completely different 🤔

IDK WHY HES BEING CHEEKY! WHYS HE BEING CHEEKY?

Honestly it's just cheating AI that makes it challenging at all, the way Ali will put you in stun from jabs constantly, while yours barely even register. I'm still waiting for that real boxing sim that isn't just a slugfest where you punch each other in the head 400 times per fight.
