The HARDEST 7 Days Of Fishing Pays Off... STRIPER MADNESS ON CAPE COD!

UNREAL STRIPED BASS FLATS FISHING IN CAPE COD //
On this special episode of Abenz Fishing I document my fishing trip to Cape Cod, MA where I spent a week chasing Striped Bass. Striper fishing can be extremely hit or miss and this trip was the most difficult one I've been on. I spent what felt like countless days waking up at 3:30 am casting and casting to catch one striper here or there.. It FINALLY came together on the LAST DAY!

Not sure of your area fishing flats. I fished the Brewster flats a few years ago fly casting to puddle stripers.. The local fly shop gave us some sobering information about fishing the flats we we in the fall. A must a button compass, to guide you back to shore if the Cape fog rolls in , with rising tide coming in as fast as you can walk, easy to get turned around and get disoriented. Every year a fisherman or two are lost during these conditions dont fish alone some fishermen wear a yoke a PFD. Watch the tide and be aware of your location a mile out on the flats is out there. Good Fishing Keep the Videos coming.

You’re spot on with everything you said! It’s definitely best to play it safe and err on the side of caution. The cape fog will disorient you QUICK and the comes in just as fast

I did this last year in Brewster with a whopper plopper. It's so fun. I had to leave because of my kids and they were hitting my lure as I dragged it behind me by mistake. Great video Aaron.

That’s so awesome, the Brewster flats are epic. I didn’t even think of a whopper popper, that would definitely crush them - they clearly like things that make noise.

@@AbenzFishing my kids did not like the water rolling in and it fills up fast. The 5" whopper plopper was killing em in like 6" to 12" of water. Also a storm search bait, but topwater is way more fun.
