For those of you who don't understand why he is censoring the video, it's because KZread essentially isn't going to pay people anymore if their video is deemed needed for restriction, and medical footage falls under that category. Pretty stupid move on KZread's part, and it will be a while before videos will be as they used to be.

Demolition Ranch would be the gun use, explosives, throwing saw blades, etc that could be deemed reckless or endangering. I mean the Can Cannon got turned into a homemade Lawn Dart launcher with a bowie knife at one point and shot in the air. Did I watch the video and enjoy it? Yes. Do I understand the concern from others? Yes. Is it stupid of KZread to just roll out changes and fuck people over? Yes. This is the world created by all the whining by overly sensitive/easily offended/social justice/"This offends me, so no one gets to see it" people we live in these days. How fucking strong are dogs?? Like holy shit, if something like this (or the stuff in the other videos) happenend to a human they would not be able to handle it. And these dogs don't even cry, when somebody touches their wounds. Pretty badass, I would have already died from pain 3 times over, if something like this happenend to me!!

to give you an Idea, I had a Similar surgery done to my left hip when I was 8yr old, ( had perthes disease) The Doc Also cut the femur head of and made a weird hip joint.. and its 22 years later and it still working and as for pain.. it was not that bad.. I also had a Hip replacement on my right hip in Jan this year. and I Have to say.. Its been a pain free ride.. human body is badass!!

My dog had to have almost this exact same surgery last year. It was a really long recovery but she’s now in great shape. Thank you for everything you do get ranch!

The best work around would be to create edited videos like this one and then tag an unedited version in the description on a completely new channel that you don't need monetized. You keep the ads and viewers on here and you still get to show everything to those that want to see it

I think that is a good idea. Some people cannot stand graphic videos for numerous reasons, and having 2 versions is a good idea. I know some cases who faint when seeing this stuff, but still feel cheerful seeing animals treated.

you guys should make your own webpage!! not only could you post the full surgery videos, but you could get your own advertisements on there for revenue, on top of featuring adoptions or adoption events.

We had one of these done on our Shepherd last summer and we're getting ready to do the second one this year. You just can't believe how this surgery improves everything in their life. Thank you for all that you guys do down there.

As someone who is interested in going into the veterinarian field (I'm 18) I'm quite disappointed that they had to start censoring their surgeries .-. Cuz they show and teach how this stuff works.

I'm currently in school to be a veterinary technician, and I stumbled across this channel not too long ago. Watching some of these videos really helped me get a better understanding of what im getting into. I hope you keep rescuing animals and you keep helping people learn about the care put in for them!

That happy face! He's purely a sweet goofball. Easy to see why his fosters kept him.

Wow - I can only imagine his rapid recovery reflects how much pain he must have been in before - the post-op awkwardness and uncomfortableness was so minimal in comparison he was probably thinking he was the recipient of a miracle!! I guess he kinda was, really... :-)

That’s just what irks me because if they didn’t have a blur they would’ve gotten trouble but all these other ones would never even think of getting demonetized because they’re popular or their famous or whatever and they show private parts and everything. It’s just not fair because this is actually educational. Especially for someone like me who wants to be in a veterinary field.

It's happened to me before. I once offered myself fostering a puppy that was left at the animal control center and when i brought her back to the clinic i ended up adopting her. Feisty little girl but I love her anyway. She's a special dog 💗😍

If you want to help but can't donate money, consider downloading an app called resQwalk that by walking you earn money per mile for charities. Its only a small amount but every bit of money helps! Vet ranch is one of the charities but last month only $4 was raised so if more people do it more money can be raised to make a difference in more dogs lives! Please share this so more money can be raised for this charity!!!!!!!!

To be honest..because of how much I’ve watched vet ranch(uncensored) it’s helped me with my dislike of to much blood and my love for animals and now I want to be a vet when I’m older!! I’m 14 so I’ve got a ways to go but I know thats what I want to be!! So I thank you vet ranch and hope everything you do gets appreciated as much as it should!

I had similar surgery done on my right leg because of a bonetumor in the pelvis. This doggo is my spirit animal now!

Also whoever is running these companies are retarded; if you want to specifically market to a certain demographic you do that -- see the first sentence. all these years i thought i was the number one dog lover.......i wish i could love dogs the way you do

I fostered a dog that ended up needing this surgery because the femoral neck that connects the ball to the femur was fractured. She was a lot like him, avoided using the leg but was otherwise super happy and energetic. She had to be on crate rest for 6 weeks while she healed, and she was more miserable during that time than she was before the surgery! She healed up just fine and did physical therapy to work on using her leg again, and then got adopted into a furever home. I don't hear from them much but last time I did she was very happy :)

Fun fact for anyone that reads this: people used to wrap little boys in a pink blanket and little girls in a pale blue blanket. The blue was to remind of the sky while pink symbolized red blood in the hopes that the boy would become a great warrior. At some point, a princess decided to switch those around, but originally wrapping a boy in pink was so he would be strong and brave. So basically, that pink towel fits like a glove!

Love seeing the kids in these old clips! (Love seeing Lincoln touching the dog’s tongue through the gate and then stamping with glee & laughing.)

hi I just wanted to let you know that there is a channel called vet ranch that is posting old videos of vet ranch(like the one of June, a pitbull from a year ago) they have the same name but when you search them you can only find your channel and I came across their videos because it was suggested by youtube and you cannot comment on the videos so I don't know if it's an old channel ( probably not because the last video was posted a week ago) so I hope i helped Ps: i love your videos keep doing what you do it is amazing !

Lucie Eynaud If you want to help but can't donate money, consider downloading an app called resQwalk that by walking you earn money per mile for charities. Its only a small amount but every bit of money helps! Vet ranch is one of the charities but last month only $4 was raised so if more people do it more money can be raised to make a difference in more dogs lives! Please share this so more money can be raised for this charity!!!!!!!!

Dear Matt, please stick to the surgery footage. no one really uses restricted mode other than parents of small children. networking among your viewers will bring you new subs. no need to worry. just keep doing what you do! you inspire so many people! Censoring, in my opinion, adds a barrier between the procedure and the viewer. -Jason

jason pham the thing is if he shows the surgery footage his videos will be demonitized and he will not be able to get any kind of profits from KZread, and you know he uses all the money for rescues

It's annoying that you are being flagged when your content is educational and charitable. Even with the censoring this video and your content are remarkable! Keep up the good work!

KZread displays the most probably profitable ad available at that moment. If you want to make sure Dr Matt gets as much revenue as possible, DO NOT SKIP the add (he get's 0 if you skip it). Also, click on the link. The actual way the ad revenue is calculated is quite complicated. There is a video by CGPgrey that explains it well.

I can't believe KZread done this he warns every video if there distress

I’m on my first year of college and I have a lonnggg way to go. Going on KZread and watching Veterinarians showing their lives and doing surgery showing the viewers what’s going on and just informing me is awesome. I’m learning from this bc this is what I’ll be doing in the future but now that KZread has new rules I can’t see as much in the surgery process and that makes me sad. But thank you for still trying to work your way around this and still keeping me informed even if you have to blur out certain things. I love this channel😭❤️

I heard gun channels are having a rough time on KZread now, too. Hopefully I heard wrong, it would suck to see changes on Demolition Ranch too. Regardless, I'll always be a viewer and subscriber.

its just youtube restricted mode, its for as example kids, whose parents dont want them to see the bad stuff on youtube, restricted mode is an opt-in which you can activate on the bottom of youtube homepage

There is a difference between age-restricted videos and restricted videos. Restricted ones can still be monetized.

I enjoy watching Vet Ranch. I hope Matt will always continue to post his life saving surgeries. You are a gift from God. I just can't say enough about a man that heals pets and sends them off to forever homes. Truly amazing and very humble man. Your family is fun and Demolition and off the Ranch are entertaining too.

Chloe exactly and also like...dogs can't see color very well, they don't have a sense of gender like humans do, and he was asleep so he wouldn't be able to see it anyway. and anyone can wear any color and it doesn't mean anything about their gender. lots of guys love pink

I understand how the dog feels, I had a hip replacement in 2016, it gave me the most amazing relief from pain. Compared to how he probably felt before, this will be so much better.

Everyone at Vet Ranch and supporters are amazing!

one thing you could do is upload the uncensored videos on the vet ranch site. but i understand if for whatever reason you can't do that. i will happily continue to watch your videos regardless
