There're = There are. They're= They are, clearly referring to a person - personification, rather than an object (skittles). There's tends to be used in American but because that simplifies to "there is" which is singular, skittles is a plural (unless you intended it to be a company make), so "are" is more appropriate. The original post was right.

Is it weird that the people from the hangover remind me of a human version of Spongebob? Alan is Spongebob because of the way he is oblivious to things, the way he escapes terrible situations, and the maturity level. Stu would be Squidward because he's always grumpy.

1st one is the iconic one 2nd is the funniest 3rd is okay

There should have only been one sequel and it should have focused on Alan meeting Cassie (since Melissa McCarthy is the only actress who could have believably married Alan Garner) and their relationship progressing and ending with the wedding and subsequent hangover. That was the mistake both sequels made. When I heard Stu was getting married in #2, I thought they picked the wrong bachelor because any woman who'd marry Alan would have to be as off-the-wall as he was. Then I saw Melissa McCarthy in Bridesmaids and said, "I believe we've found that woman!"
