Like c'mon folks, just read and comprehend; We are washing/showering/bathing every day, it's just the hair being mentioned here. Everybody's hair and scalp are so vastly different to each other, and that's perfectly natural, normal and okay. @@Ebonynj I dont think it's mostly about hair type, as straight haired people can also only wash their hair once a week or less. I'm one of them. And most other brown and black people I know or know of are the same. It isn't about the oil travelling down a strand, but rather the scalp and how it produces oil and build up. We just have less scalp oil/sebum production, but for example Indians are famous for their thick luscious healthy moisture risch hair, even though they dont wash their hair often due to no greasiness. Hence many wigs are made from their hair.
Dry shampoo, it's a life saver (especially for me because I struggle with washing my hair due to my disability and it means I can drag out the length of time inbetween washed)

Me with my dryer than a fucking desert hair: - washes it once every week - yeaah I'm good for the week Btw: I have extremely dry and sensitive scalp and hair. It doesn't reproduce oil as much as normal hair so it's painful for me to wash it as regularly and it never stinks if i stay one week like 6 days without washing it. It by the 7 th day it starts looking like normal hair that has just been washed. I tried every medicine out there but it doesn't work. I was born like that and i get rashes if i wash it every couple of days. I went to so many dermatologist that told me to only wash my hair when it gets dirty. Which it doesn't until the 7 th day. It's literally painful for me to wash it as regularly as other people. Soo... Either that or i go to the dr to treat my rash. I would say it's annoying if my hair smelled or felt weird but it never does until it reproduces oil.
