This is another half-hour, b&w, TV Western series I've never seen before or heard of!! It features the Sam Buckheart character I remember from The Rifleman - a Harvard- educated Apache, turned lawman. I don't know if the Rifleman episode came first, or this series), but there are a LOT of recognizable characters!! (John Anderson, Mort Mills, Robert Vaughn & Walter Burke, just to name a few!!) As in The Rifleman, Michael Ansara plays Buckheart!! (I'm continually struck ny what an UGLY guy he was; and to think he was married to Barbara Eden!!)

He was on the Rifleman first and then this was a spinoff with Sam Buckheart as U.S. Marshall. Both great westerns .
