Always a Cute ending with ol westerns!

Tom Tyler starts things off by robbing the rustlers of their ill-gotten gains until he is recognized by one of the gang, none other than Lon Chaney Jr. Too bad leading lady Lucile Browne retired from the business in '38 to get married. Slim Whitaker, who played the sheriff was one of the most prolific western villains. Jimmy Fox playing Dopey does a great job as Tyler's sidekick and singing "He was a storybook cowboy."

What crooks there were in the cowboy days! So diabolical!

Lucille was the last of the actors from Hollywood to stay married to the same man for forty years!

Jeanette Nolan was married to John McIntire from 1935 until his death in 1991---many others also. Not in today's Hollywood though.

i have seen 38 of the 49 tom tyler b-westerns and all of his 3 mesquiteers with bob steele. the 11 i have never found are

Lon Chaney Jr.......pretty good, but not the stature of his dad. Great western with an interesting and very modern twist.
