I got rid of this guy by having a bear chase him in the woods and me running into the opposite direction. Then after weeks of in game time and forgetting all about him, he showed up torch in hand as I was sneaking around inside one of the gates to oblivion. One of the most hilarious gaming moments in my life.

I had similar in Skyrim had Lydia as a companion one day she just disappeared thought she died a few weeks later much further on in the game I was sneaking around in a cave an she snuck up behind me without me knowing turned around scared the life out of me hit my knee on the underside of my desk. Just standing there torch in hand like she had been there the entire time.

I read somewhere that Cicero's annoying ass was actually the adoring fan sent to kill the grand champion of the arena. I know that the years in between the ingame time kind of take the chances of that away but it's a video game.... Anyways, anyone heard of this?

I did hear about this! Also, if you read Cicero’s journals in Skyrim, he does mention meeting the grand champion before he went crazy and became a jester.
