No question, having the robot talk like Bender would increase the value of the game by at least 5 dollars. Also the idea that the first companion is the "evil morality playthrough" one, and its the robot sci-fi companion is hilarious. Imagine just walking around a town or an NPC's ship and the bot sometimes grabs one of the expensive items. "I didn't want to do it, they programed me to do it" *runs away*

Companions *do* have the ability to pick up guns off the ground and trade up. They will hold onto and equip whatever you tell them to if you go out of your way, but left to their own devices means that who knows what weapon they will pick up. If you aren't paying attention, that includes the merchandise on the shelves at stores lmao.

We had instance-locked cities. Now we have instance-locked planets. Absolutely beautiful.

When I started my first, and current playthrough I noticed their was a hair option that looks just like Fry's. So naturally I threw it on, made it red and boom, Captain Phillip J fry was now on a mining outpost ready to blunder his way through the galaxy

Man, I've reached the point with my PC where I can't play the new Bethesda game. I built this to play Fallout 4. It's okay, though - by the time I get some upgrades together, the Bethesda modding community will hopefully have been hard at work. To me, it ain't a Bethesda game without some serious modding.

It is if you travel with regular boosters, the problem is that takes literally hours. A streamer got to Pluto from another planet and it took 7 hours.

The only thing I wouldve loved in here would have been Frys countdown being interrupted by a loading screen, only to resume after the loading :D

Literally me for the first few hours of this game. Just slack jawed amazement. This is pretty much *the* game I've been waiting for since I was a kid.

Trust me when i say you won't be disappointed, you can compare it to Fallout if you want, the ship building is nice, the space combat is fun, the gunplay is crisp, and the skill trees are fun to mess around with.

After my 10 hours of gameplay since the Premium release at 5PM PST, it's probably their best game to date. Most polished on release, hands down. It's funny how many of you are so blinded by your hate for 76 that you likely never learned that Bethesda has three different studios now, and that the Maryland studio that's responsible for Starfield barely touched 76. But it's easier to listen to the memes.

@@97Crazysteve I admit I'm really gun shy. I didn't feel "the magic" in Skyrim, Fallout 4 disappointed me, and Fallout 76 is Fallout 76. But I do love "low-tech" space frontier setting and a little nugget of me is willing to give Bethesda a chance again. All it has to do is clear Shivering Isle's level of "being good", that's all I ask.

Don't let companies history be the sole reason not to get a game. I don't think there's ever been a company that has a 100% positive history. And single player RPGs are Bethesdas bread and butter this is very different from an ambitious mmo that was never gonna work the way they wanted it to. This is the same company that gave you oblivion, Skyrim, fallout 3, some of what's constantly said are some of the best games ever made. Along with being games of that bread and butter Bethesda Is great at making just like this game is. Why is no one focussing on THAT history for Bethesda? Why is it the single, very recent, risky, outside their comfort zone game that gets all of the focus?

Old Futurama was great. It didn't always rely on contemporary real life events to make good stories. It was equally original and entertaining.
