I absolutely adore this! Jim Carrey set the standard for the grinch, and the people playing him have not disappointed. This guy did great playing him and reading the story.

This was a cool way of story time. This Grinch guy did awesome. Jim Carrey of course started this type of Grinch and was awesome and I watch the movie several times a year, but this guy is a good Grinch. I wish I could go to Grinchmas at Universal so much more now. Thank You for this. Take Care.

I had to attend 4 national conferences on the Disney grounds in Orlando during my nursing years…even at the special conference rate of $149, I couldn’t bring myself to spend money that way. The “Magic Kingdom” & all the fireworks they shoot each night is just a sad reminder of how the USA leads the world in consumerism that fans the flame of envy, jealousy, greed, lust, power to control workers & consumers with clever graphics, stories…and the acceptance of junk foods to develop obesity, junk language so people will not develop true communication skills. There is no adult or child of any talking species without parents. What happened that the Grinch lives alone on the top of a mountain. If he wanted to copy Santa, why did he leave off the pants? How are adults & children’s minds & morals being shaped and who are the Big Who(s) behind the profits & the pollution? Disney could balance their profits & loses & become the leader in Green Energy, integrated health-wellness-and the Community Service-Learning Projects so all their employees & customers & their supply chains would be examples of excellence of the real meaning of Christmas. The story doesn’t even talk about Jesus’ birth & his Kingdom. The True Creator God, his son Jesus, & the Holy Spirit that is the gift of knowing right from wrong so our hearts-minds-behaviors align to end all forms of abuse, neglect, exploitation, isolation, & lies is the story that the Grinch & all the characters created by Disney need to be telling or people will end up in the wrong Kingdom. Pinocchio is a better story to tell children. All the stories need to be unpacked so adults & children understand the full meanings…and can grow & develop into HumanKind individually & collectively. People need the practice & ability to see through the hype. We need those who experienced remorse & escaped from the life of being controlled by overt or covert human rights violators.

With me it is a wise use of money and the overarching priorities The only reason that I even know about movies & popular stories is from other people, some exposure to TV, the internet & public libraries. There is also a very nice owner community-minded owner of a movie theater & Landoll Corporation, a large global biz hometown employer in Marysville, Kansas that sponsor free movies for families periodically. Accessing things on the internet is in my price range since I serve as a volunteer in my retirement.

The scene with Cindy was the best 😂

I don't think he wants to put that suit back on. Or any suit.... The Grinch suit at that time was extremely unbearable to wear. So much so that they had to bring in a special agent that specialized in torture resistance to teach Jim mental techniques to keep him calm while wearing something so itchy.

Something I love about Carrey's Grinch is, though he obviously becomes good at the end of the story like always, you can see at the end of the movie that he still keeps his naughty and mischievous personality anyway instead of becoming the nice and ideal Whoville citizen. Shouldn't the title be changed, given the plot of the Jim Carrey version & that this has The Grinch himself doing the read-through, to: "How I [The Grinch] Taught Those Materialistic Whos The True Meaning of Christmas Again, Even Though Their Bullying Is What Drove Me To Self-Isolation To Begin With"?

This is good. To those wishing this was Jim Carrey or wanting a sequel, I don't think anyone could pay him enough to put that makeup on again. If you watch interviews with him talking about The movie, He literally had to train like he was a solider to deal with torture. He hated it. While I'm sure he had a good time, that makeup was miserable to put on. This video was quite funny. Thanks Universal!
