Instead of insulting the gift, you could've just taken a few seconds to read the ~description; it was a themed advent calendar & the gifting of it was random. There's no need to brag that YOU _would've_ been able to spend a whole lot more on smth much less personal - you can just go ahead & do it, & you could even make a video of it for sharing online too if you like. Any ~kindness counts.. ♡
