Hello dearest Katie! I’m back for a weekend of leave from the hospital and indulging in a podcast or two…oh what a delight it is to sit with you again as I finish off a spinning project I began before I left two months ago. Everything is so peaceful and soothing, your projects, your new landscapes…and you of course! I’m also so excited to see your crochet cowl…crochet has become very important to me recently and it’s so great to discover a new pattern to me. Thank you for this moment in your company! I’m off to enjoy another episode xxxx

Thank you for this latest podcast episode, Katie! The beautiful things you create leave me speechless. Love it! Stay happy and creative, best wishes, Juliane.
Love your video and love watching Jack hopping along❤
Luv your channel. My Mother taught herself to knit. She was quite good. She even made socks. Sadly, I am a poor knitter. I can't seem to maintain even tension. And the idea of creating multiple samples to find the right size needles seems a little too frustrating for me. I have crocheted lace for a couple of garments. Growing up I learned to embroider, do crewel work, needlepoint, sequin/beading, smocking, macramé and Victorian paperpoint. As a teen I added on quilting, hand sewing and machine sewing. And have since added on jewelry design, soft doll making. I also draw a bit and want to learn to use pastels. And one day I would love to take a workshop where you can learn the process of making linen or wool yarn. With a wool class I would love to learn how to take raw wool all the way through to using it to knit or weave. Because I am a tactile person I do love our local yarn shop. I have also collected knitted or crocheted scarves, shawls or trim from Thrift stores/charity shops.🐑
Very very nice really interesting video great video ma'am big like thank you so much sharing video ma'am 👍🙂👌🏻
What a lovely episode filled with such beautiful projects. Thanks for sharing what you create.
The scratch board idea is spot on. I absolutely love the imagery and the technique. The drawings to me seem ready to be presented to the world. Love the sheep’s expressions. This soon to be tea towel makes me happy. Thank you
I love watching your walks with Jack- he is so cute. Your grey jumper are looking amazing, no wonder you are proud of it😊
So glad you're back! Love, love, love your videos!! I purchased some items from your store some months ago and I am soooo happy with my purchases! It was so well put together!
I agree with you, making things in pieces is easier to work on and carry with you. For someone who can't work from home this essential if any progress is to be made
I am a new subscriber, love your channel. As an older person who is also an artist and crafter , let me just say that " perfect is the enemy of good". Best regards.
Hello fro the French-German border! I loved this video. I stumbled across your videos and have been enjoying seeing your creative pursuits. Thank you for sharing your walks.
I love the new towel design and your jumper is just stunning. I want to knit that pattern someday too.
The beetle sweater is fabulous on you
Katie, I love watching you work on the scratch board. The new tea towel will be cute. Both sweaters are beautiful! I especially love The Nightingale❤️ The cowl is lovely… your friend will be pleased with it.

So enjoyed this video thank you.
the bug pullover with the hints of lilac in the wool just stunning! And the Nightingale.... so beautiful and for me full of love and humor your sheep painting. Thank you for sharing. I`m knitting the academic vest (ravelry, Skeindeer Knits) with Einband (istex)
Hi Katie, love the new tea towel! I was looking at the other one recently because I would love to turn it into a project bag. Your new sweater is wonderful! It looks great and the perfect fit. The crochet cowl is cute too. I am currently crocheting lots of ribbing to sew on a cardigan. It amazed me how it works well in crochet. While I was watching you on my tablet, I noticed a reflection of myself when the scene changed and was smiling while watching. That is what I love about your podcasts...they make me smile!! 🧶
As always another very nice episode. Love you and of course Jack, he is a cutie, I have 2 dogs and one is like Jack, on some walks she puts the brakes on and tells me I had enough, your designs and knitting are so beautiful, your podcast for sure is my favorite and I am always so happy when I see a new one.cheers from Canada where I live close to the Rocky Mountains ❤️🌷🇨🇦

I got a rely from “you”that I won a prize, I am not responding to that one since there are a lot of scams going around
Your Nightingale/Mithril jumper is just magnificent, very well done! I hope to see it again in a future episode : ). As a LOTR fan, I definitely think there is some elvish magic in it!
So cute seeing jack saying no to that little patch of walk, and you carrying him ❤️ Always a joy spending time with you. Thank you. Will pop over to ko-fi to get jack a biscuit…
Thank you for a lovely Video
Absolutely love your humorous tea towels and your creativity in your knitting.
Hello Katie, I absolutely love your videos. Thanks. Inspirational. I especially love how you include the provenance of the wool and patterns you use. I am also more likely to put down a project near the finish line and look to find my next project. I see it as a Gemini thing. The walks with Jack through your spectacular country side is relaxing and incredibly interesting. I enjoy your calm and quiet nature and your love of detail. Keep going please. 🙂 Sherrie Simms-Farmer, Moonta, South Australia
love the Mithral jumper, and your adaptations - I sing your praises whenever I can - thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills
Some beautiful knits Katie !❤
So inspiring to see your Nightingale! I am on my first sleeve and I must admit it has been resting for a long, long time! Beautiful version you did! Perhaps I should take it up again!
Thank you for another lovely (and productive!) episode! All your knits and crochet look fabulous. I’m so glad you are back to the etching and cannot wait to see the yarny sheep when it’s done. I made a project bag out one of your sheep breeds tea towels and will probably do the same with the new one. Your new landscape is so different from your walks in Dartmoor but no less beautiful. Jack looks like he’s still getting used to all the rocks! Sweet Jack. ❤
Today I noticed the beauty of the sky this time. Gorgeous and inspiring. The elfin sweater is stunning.
Katie and Jack, thank you very much for another lovely episode. I really enjoy your creativity and honesty in your work. Your studio looks like it is shaping up beautifully. Thank you for sharing a little piece of you. I know that can be challenging and a bit scary at times. Take care and stay warm. Stephanie from California
What a delightful episode! Your Mithral is a masterpiece and a testament to your skills, creativity, and artistry. I love that Jack is there with you.💕 All the best as Spring pokes its head up to greet you.
Love watching you Katie and your Jack is adorable.... I was out and about in lincoln area and bumped into a lovely lady wearing your beetle jumper... it was just beautiful we did chat and both said we enjoyed watching you.. best wishes
If anyone wants a cheery little pick-me-up, all they have to do is watch you modeling your gorgeous sweater with that huge smile on your face! It's truly easy to tell that you are in love with it and will wear it often. Also, I think the new tea towel is going to be so stinkin' cute! Adorable. Can't wait to see the finished product.
KZread started this video after another's video and I was delighted by it all. From watching you and Jack walking to your talk at the end. Gave it a thumbs up, subscribed and checked the bell! I look forward to watching all your videos. I don't normally comment but seriously, your video was AWESOME!
Allow me to send you all of my seaming projects to seam up for me. I loathe that part! LOL You do a beautiful job. ☺
Thank you for sharing. As I will be in the UK for April, I plan to have a few days in the Brecon Beacons and to visit WonderWool. Thoroughly looking forward to flying over. It's a long way from New Zealand.
Thank you for the nature walks with Jack❣ Me and my Chihuahua really enjoy them🥰 You are amazing! Super talented. I love your black board with the beautiful sheep. Gorgeous sweaters 👍👍
I’m in LOVE with Jack! 🐾 And your work is spectacular. Thank you for sharing your indoor and outdoor living space. Woof to Jack…🐶

I just want to add: my old sweet girl/dog is approaching the time we will be parted and I see Jack and hope for peace and ease for them for all his time with his fan club here. We are so profoundly blessed with knowing our kindred spirits. I’m not wanting to be all dooms-day here! Please know that I just want to say w relish the long walks and snuggles. Smile and be grateful always ♥️🙏🏽🐾
The Nightingale sweater looks amazing on you well done 🤩 I have that PomPom magazine maybe one day I will knit it 😊 Crab stitch is a beautiful finishing crochet stitch but very strange to crochet in reverse.
I really love watching your videos. You are such a talented artist. Jack is so cute! I love the English / Welsh countryside. Thank you for sharing your walks with us. Regards, Rosemary Moolman from South Africa.
Everything about your Mithril Jumper is beautiful Katie, just perfect!
Love the sweater you were wearing in the podcast. I really like the look of the short sleeve over a long T. The colour work is beautiful in the earthy tones. Look fwd to your next episode. Lin from Ont, Canada
Thank you Katie I love strolling through the german and british countryside, but unfortunatly haven't been to Wales (yet) 🌈 Regards from Germany, Eva
Oh, Katie! I’m only 10 minutes into the podcast and I just have to jump in here and tell you that I LOVE the new tea towel! I know I’m going to have to practice patience-and you are always worth it. It is delightful already. 😍 Congratulations on your drawing mojo returning with a flurry! 🙏👏💜
Your videos are such a joy to watch!
A really lovely podcast. Your sweater is so well constructed & a great fit. Will be so nice to see the tea towel when it comes out. Thanks from Scotland 🏴
Katie your sweater is absolutely gorgeous and truth to tell I like it better than Norah's original with your modifications! It is more wearable and yet, as a LOTR fan myself, really catches the spirit of the story. Such fun! Thanks again for another wonderful video!
Your gorgeous jumper 😍😍😍
Wonderful uploaded 😊
Another inspiring episode Katie. I don’t know how you are so inspiring and so relaxing at the same time but I love how you do it. I’m sitting watching you while recovering from a three day migraine and you are just what I needed. ❤❤Love to Jack. He seems to be struggling a little bit with the cold.
Love your sweater its so pretty. Great idea about the cuffs for fixing the cuff lengths instead of ripping out. Artists can think of the best way to work fixes. Wow, cowl..... but agree its not for beginners. Thanks for letting us know. Finnish Knitting podcast, has a cute knitted frog and she even made clothing for it. Its really cute
So many great things in this podcast! I can't wait for the new tea towel - I have the orig. designed towel hanging in my kitchen and when this one is done I will order it and add to the wall! Your Mithril yarn sweater turned out so lovely! I am excited to hear about this yarn, and plan to get it and knit a hat for my son, a LOTR fan! Thirdly, I am struck by how Wales looks a lot like my neck of the woods - the center of Washington State! Who knew?! Katie, do you follow Jana at Ketuknits? She is hosting a MAL called When Frogs Oink, and has knitted a lovely little frog she named Frannie, and I really think you would enjoy her episodes of Finnish Knitting Stories 60 and 61 that show her sweet little froggie girl! Thank you for sharing your tip about using the locking stich markers to help keep the seams straight - great tip!
So inspiring ❤️
Love Jack!
You are so wonderfully talented, Katie. I love your Nightingale/Mithral jumper. I think your modifications are just perfect.
I really enjoy your artistic process and love watching the drawings come to life. Beautiful knits, yarns and colours, Norah Gaughan in particular.
Such an enjoyable episode. Your Mithril is perfection. I recently watched the LOR movies and noticed the grey cloaks, how beautiful they were, and how they seemed to shed water and looked so soft but invincible. BTW, I spy a bass bridge tacked to your wall! My husband is a bass player - three double basses share our space. Cheers from the countryside near Clyde, NY, US.
I thought the ends on the cowl were a fringe, Katie😁 Your friend will love it 👍😊 And Masham is pronounced 'Massom' by the way, if it's the town in Yorkshire anyway...we were put right when we visited there.
