Duran in his prime was off the charts explosive.

There was an outdoor public workout featuring Roberto Duran with a ring set up in Times Square to promote the first Duran Leonord fight in 1980. Duran skipped rope for a full 3 minute round while squatting and hopping around the ring. The rope was going so fast you couldn’t even see it, incredibly impressive. I won a lot of money on that fight after personally seeing the shape Roberto Duran was in for that fight!

Man Duran looks insane best one I’ve seen incredible, even when he was old and out of shape

You can see whence RD's punching power: that kind of spring behind a blow ends badly for his opponent. GOAT athlete. RFGA, Ph.D.

Duran has this one he has his own style going, he jumps the highest , then comes down jump squating, and arms swinging in all directions, (most difficult moves)

Joe Louis' fitness was ahead of his time.

Yes, Jump rope increases cardio vascular stamina...and boxing needs footwork...so jumping rope is very good for footwork

Mayweather in this video was doing toe taps and criss cross run in place. Moves which you literally lift your feet off the ground for on purpose. Don't comment if you don't know what you're talking about.

Roberto Duran by far. Tyson definitely a close second. Mayweather is just basic and lifts his feet too high while Duran and Tyson virtually float barely even a full inch off the ground with a dancers grace. Smooth and effortless. Joe Louis and Ali were basic. Marciano looked totally ridiculous for the simple fact he had horrible footwork in the ring.
