As an American, I had no idea Guy Pearce is from Oz. He's an incredible actor. This is about the tenth person that I found out was not American on this show. I've tried to use an Aussie accent for years and years but it's impossible, starts out like a drunken Scotsman and devolves into Southern Mexican. It's a nightmare. LOL

I used to feed the goannas around the camps when I was cooking for the crews to eat the brown snakes eggs and keep them away.

Have you seen Priscilla: Queen of the Desert or Jack Irish? I guess his most well-known films like Momento And LA Confidential were American so it is possible not to know he is Australian.

If you get a chance watch one of Nicole's first films BMX Bandits filmed in Sydney on the beach. The kid's will love it too.

OMO is still a thing in South Africa. Moms love it!

We still have Omo washing powder. It even comes in liquid form

My fondest memory of my dad was when at primary school when our teacher saw a snake underneath the front stairs where we all climbed up in the morning to enter the school. Took buck shots with a double rifle to kill it! He did not kill it. That afternoon someone saw that snake again. My day just came saw it was a brown snake and whipped it like a whip and broke its back! Now I feel sorry for the poor snake but back then I was so proud of my dad!
