Words cannot express how grateful I am for Bleach TYBW. Kubo and the anime staff have done a masterful job of the arc so far, and they’ve gone beyond my expectations. It feels amazing to be a Bleach fan right now! This is easily my anime of the year!

tbh this year anime is so unreal. We had so many great anime like bleach, mob psycho, cyberpunk, chainsawman etc. For me I can't decide what anime of the year lol

Ngl after the fight with quilge and as nodt & some of the removed manga panels I was a bit disappointed. But everything after Yamamoto vs Ywach was non stop bangers. I am thinking about giving the first half of the cour a re watch to see if my opinion will change but nonetheless what a way to end the first cour!

The visuals in the last episode were absolutely ridiculous. So much meaning by just showing rather than explaining. Such deep pull into emotions through visuals. So insane.

Seriously though! This comeback was enough to make me and like thousands of other fans cry! I seriously could not be more grateful to see this anime back and kicking ass.

Starting this anime 5 months ago was the best thing I did, I went specting a 5/10 series but it was a 11/10 from start to end and now im reading the novels

Exactly what I did. Bleach was on my watch list for a long time now, before the new anime came out I took the time and binged all of bleach (without the filler episodes). The first arc was amazing. Hueco mundo was a bit weaker, but still really good. After the Aizen fight I continued with the new anime and it got even better so I couldn't wait and continued reading all the manga and oh boy does it get bad towards the end everything feels so rushed and some scenes/scenes are so out of place. I hope the anime does things different and it could be one of the best animes ever.

That intro to episode 7 is one of the single greatest masterpieces I've ever seen.

the fact that we waited 10 years to get this beautifully animated 'final' season, it is definitely worth it

I am so greatful how things turned out for Bleach. I remember watching it 2 years after the anime completed and not getting all the hate it had gotten. Then the manga ended and all we had left were a few Bleach youtubers and BBS. And now we got this beautiful adaptation of the best bleach arc which will only get better with new additions and hopefully a better ending than what we got. I was screaming like a little girl after I heard it was confirmed to be back.

On my end, I came into the Bleach series back in 2017-18. It was amazing to me, and as with any Bleach fan - eagerly awaited for the anime's return. I remember actually shouting "Yes!" When I found out the anime was coming back.

Best bleach arc is def a reach, but hopefully through the anime they can flesh it out properly and it may actually become the best arc.

TYBW just set the standard for how to do an adaptation, and a comeback. They should feel so proud of themselves; they really knocked it out of the park. What a time to be alive; Bleach out here shutting the haters & naysayers up.

I fucking loved it. I became so emotional during the first episode hearing Number 1 remixed and seeing Orihime, Chad, Uryu and Ichigo back in action that I almost cried. As a die-hard though, I can't say it's perfect. I understood and agreed with nearly all the cuts, but I do think they cut things a bit too much. The Llyod/Ryod explanation, Mayuri's explanation on broken Banki and some lines in Everything But The Rain, e.t.c being cut left some of the anime only viewers missing context, and the way episode 9 was structured was just bizarre. I personally gave it a 9/10, but to see Bleach TYBW ranked as literally number 1 on MAL (as of time of writing) just goes to show that Bleach never died and I'm so happy for it's success.

The Loyd Royd cut was a good thing for non confusion about the FakeYuha strong power versus Yama, in the anime the two brothers have the same power copying the whole person. The Mayuri's Bankai explanation and others cuts are available in the mid-episodes eyecatchers.

The opening and closing song also the Ichigo vs Kirgue Opie J fight music which was also used in the early trailer was soooo Epic it's up there with Treachery!

The wait was most definitely worth it. I have been bidding my time waiting on ANYTHING regarding an anime adaption or something for almost a decade and finally hearing about one happening and then to my surprise also delivering in spades was something I never thought possible. Waiting for Cour 2 for 7 months is nothing compared to what we had to wait for to get this anime. With that said, Happy New Year and thanks for all the Bleach content!

It is truly one of the most spectacular comebacks in anime. I liked the flashback to the last Quincy war and how it ironically juxtaposes the current conflict with the raw brutality, one side was the recipient the other dishes it out and now roles are reversed. Both let themselves go at it. No mercy. The TYBW brought to our screens.

1 Yamamoto battle. 2 blade is me 3 everything but the rain. Top moments from this reason. It was so moving emotionally and visually stunning. I will be watching a few of these episodes again. Only any cut I didn't like was the Rukia tomato 🍅 and Rangiku sweating comments as a man of the culture lol. I think the studio did an amazing job with the material. I would have like more explanation of that copying stern Ritter power, and a longer kenpachi battle

It's been incredible! Honestly this stomped on everything else, the battles where incredible and the tension was unreal! Loved it.

It's a luxury knowing Kubo is working on the anime himself. That way we are assured that the anime return will his original image. He very well fix the ending since he was cut on the needed chapters at the end of the manga.

It's like watching over 6 hrs of movie quality Anime. I love the way how Bleach TYBW turn out. Can't wait to see more of it in July 2023.

The anime's pacing may be fast - but so is the manga's. Bleach is meant to feel like a fever dream regardless of its length and it's very impressive to have an adaptation that knows what truly makes the series. The anime's ability to push the Kubo-styled subtext-heavy writing with moments such as the Sasakibe funeral in which the anime cut dialogue, yet in episodes 6 and 7 instead of telling us it showed us how important Sasakibe was to Yamamoto for thousands of years, is appreciated. And to be frank the anime team's capability to just respect the watcher's intellect without filling the anime with terrible recaps and adding filler dialogue to characters that would parrot context from earlier seasons just to get people on board is heavily appreciated. We can now clearly see that it was detrimental to have Kubo on board with this adaptation as it's very hard for scriptwriters to understand what truly makes Bleach.

Honestly its perfect pacing. The Last arc in the manga was pretty much just as fast. The Bleach anime was definitely a weekly anime of the past with padding and filler arcs (Still love it even with those flaws) TYBW feels like seasonal Anime that we've been having the past like decade so it fits right in. Feels like any other anime in terms of pacing but oh man the story and lore are on another level.

Overall my favorite moment in core 1 is Misaki killing white. It was clean, powerful and showed us that Misaki is not to be messed with.

It's a Banger. Long have we waited. And the wait was worth it. And with how successful this anime is, who knows? Maybe we'll get new content like newly licenced games, maybe like Ninja Storm or Demon Slayer, or maybe we'll get something uniquely Bleach? Either way I'm excited for the continuation of the anime and what is to come next

I’ve watched all the episodes several times, plus the videos you out about the episodes. What a fun ride that was, can’t wait for July!

The crazy DUALITY of this series lets you subconsciously pick up on the fact that the Quincies are really the "GOOD GUYS".... Just wait, hear me out.... Every staple of the series points at this, even the simplest colors of Black & White. This arc shows the Original Gotei 13 were criminals from the BEGINNING!,,,,with Ichibei being the criminal Shinigami leader. Essentially he is the "KING OF DARKNESS" & has power over EVERYTHING black.....The Quincy leader Ywach leads his army into CRIMINAL TERRITORY(criminals led by Yammamoto & the "FIRE DEMON ZANPAKTOU") to purge them. All Sternritter have "HOLY" forms and their reishi resembles light(holy arrows).... Ywach's Elite Guard were basically "Angels".... Don't believe me?...Lillie Barro literally turns into an angel & Gerard as well. Not to mention Pernida IS A HAND OF GOD!(.....who just so happens to be imprisoned, gaurded by Ichibei the "King of Darknes"🤔) Ichigo is the all too familiar "chosen one" who has to choose between good and evil....The kinda "twisted" part is that we see what happens when the chosen one unknowingly chooses to help the "EVIL" side....(Ichigo was being lied to and tricked by EVERYONE from the beginning😉) Don't forget, we got the story from the Shinigami point of view first! EVERY "VILLAIN" OF THE SERIES criticizes the Shinigami's false sense of righteousness...... Crazy ain't it?😅

You seem to forget that Quincy abilities actually destroy the balance between the real world and Sould society. They did have a fair reason for fighting initially, but when you harm the entirety of existence by using your powers (If you know how their powers work on hollows, you will understand why I say this), and after you are told to stop using those powers you are too stubborn to comply, you become the villain. So NO, QUINCIES ARE NOT THE GOOD GUYS. The soul reapers may have started as criminals but they kept the balance of souls in check. They were a NECESSARY EVIL. Until Gotei 13 were reformed, and turned into what they are at the time the story is told. Other than a few bad apples, most of the Captains are actually decent persons, with Great values and principles. Take for example Kyoraku. He could have killed Sado when he first invaded, but he didn't. He initially wanted to have a drink with him and talk. In comparison, What did the stern ritters did to the hollows in Hueco Mundo? They EXTERMINATED THEM, kind of like what happened in Europe a long time ago during a certain war, further destroying the balance between the spirits. You saying they are the good guys makes me think you either didn't understand the story told in the original anime or never watched or read the manga chapters that they were based on.

Comedy cuts are fine but some explanations would have been nice. Kubo mentioned cutting comedy was important. But there were lots of good additions and especially seeing how Masaki lost to Grand Fisher. The Aizen Yhwach conversation was entirely written by Kubo as far as I can tell. The visual aesthetic fits with how Kubo often used shadows. The visual aesthetic also strongly reminds me of Akudama Drive by the same director. The character designs have stayed very much consistent for the most part. Also I do think the old fans were used to slower dragged down pacing. Also definitely loved Bambietta’s VA who I have heard in various other anime. It also shows how Sasakibe made a cheap blow behind Yhwach’s back that made him mad

Episode 7 reminded me of the choreography of some of the best fights in the OG Bleach anime. Ichigo vs Kageroza and Ichigo vs Ginjo in the final episode Episode 6 felt like something new entirely like something we’ve never seen in Bleach before Episode 13 was the best lore episode with it being top 3 even with no action But overall I have to say episode 7 is my favorite from a lore and action standpoint as well as having top tier fight choreography, sound direction, visuals, emotion, context for Yhwach vs Yama and the Original Gotei, Yama’s death, Ichigo bringing hope to the Gotei, the talk with Byakuya, the fight, named techniques from Yhwach etc

20/10. By far the greatest anime comeback in history. I hope they do the hell chapter, and redo the entire anime like this without filler. I won't get my hopes up for hell or redo. This is a treat in itself to have bleach complete the story with this last Arc.

I loved watching tybw and coming to your channel after for your reviews and then your anime vs Manga videos the following day. I went into this as a anime only fan (wish I liked reading more lol) so almost everything was a surprise. Thank you for all your content on Bleach. It's my favorite anime 💖

Season 1 was legendary but my bold prediction is season 2 will be better since they said season 2 will have substantially more additional scenes. I think season to will also be a little slower paced to give each fight room to breathe.

People initially wrote Bleach off but have since backtracked once it returned. I'm glad we held hope til it came back. This season really delivered and it seems to only be getting better The wait was more than worth it

I was so hyped I rewatched the entire series (skipped fillers) before the return and it delivered. I can’t wait for the second cour.

Go watch the Zampakuto filler arc (with some canon stuff and foreshadowings) and the Mod Souls filler arc (the One after Aizen defeat and before Fullbringers arc). Very good fillers arcs.

While some of the changes and cuts are jarring at first, upon re-watching the entirety of the first cour in one sitting, I can confidently say that I completely trust in Taguchi's vision of the new anime. Parts such as Byakuya's eulogy being cut made the funeral scene for Sasakibe all the more impactful as the ambient sounds slowly faded into absolute silence as he pledged his life once more before Yamamoto ordered for the fire to be lit. Another change I thought was really strange at first was how Oetsu's scenes were handled, but I think Taguchi did it the way he did in order to keep good pacing while giving plenty of time for Unohana V Kenpachi while also avoiding a commercial cutaway for JP viewers, though the extended post credits scene does still feel a little odd

The first episode where Ichigo activates his bankai is kinda over the top because he can handle all those hollows without it but then again I lost my mind when ge actuvated his bankai

TYBW is one of the most amazing bleach arcs ever. Animation is finally on point, can't wait for the TYBW Separation. Bleach is finally back and took back it's crown and throne by force.

Hulu has seen Bleach's power a lot of people signed up just for the Anime and it stayed in popular/most watched section since release.

Cour 1 = 10/10 rating. Seriously, the 1st cour was amazing man. The animation, the voice actors, the moves/power-ups, and the story. Just amazing and cour 1 ended at a perfect spot!!!! Can’t wait for part 2. Going to be even greater for sure. The trailer for cour 2 looks great.

I am so blown away with this series. I look forward to so much more of this Anime. I loved all of it.

As glorious as this comeback has been, I’m still cautiously optimistic given how the TYBW ends. The ending was rushed, wasting months worth of chapters on meaningless fodder fights only to shortchange the final conflict and it soured me on the whole arc to the extent that I’d almost rather have gotten none of this and just ended the series with Aizen’s defeat. I’m thoroughly hooked with how awesome the anime has been and I haven’t reread the manga since the first time I went through it so it’s kind of feeling new to me again, but from what I do remember I hope there are major changes in how the arc wraps up from the manga because a faithful adaptation is likely still going to leave me feeling cheated.

Bleach is a perfect example of staying true to a manga while making strategic omissions when needed. The visuals are stupid good.

I just don’t see how they can get any better. Seriously. It was all so great.

KZreadrs always fail to discuss the different colors of reiatsu being released by Ichigo during his fight with Yhwach. How he knew where to go like he was being pulled towards him. The significance of that encounter and the animation of said encounter. July... Waaaaah!

I'm so glad to see my YEARS of defending bleach against haters within my own circle has finally paid off. I see a lot of haters backtracking as of late, but it's all good. Bleach is comfortably demonstrating why it deserves its place among 'The Big 3'

I ablsolutelyLoved it. kudos to Tite Kubo and Team for pumping out this masterpiece, one of the greatest anime comeback for real . I would like to add couple of points. Although the overall pacing of the episodes were good, I would have loved to see them stretch the episodes a bit longer as for some scenes and/or episodes, it felt a bit fast pacedor quickly wrapped up . A quick question, there was no mention of Hados and Kidos in Cour 1, is it the same in the Manga as well; Becuase when the captains and lieutenants were engaging in a fight with the sternritters they could have used a combination of Hados forcing sternritters to activate Quincy Voll Stern Dich ofcourse eventually ending with the same result as it would have been cool to watch as an Anime exclusive scene, just a thought.

i just watched all of it, and i really want them to go back and give the first 4 arc a redo with this quality (after they finish this one of course.) i will watch EVERY fucking episode if they do! this season had me smiling ear to ear for the entire thing. i am so fucking excited for season 2! this is how the old anime should have been.

I rewatched all episodes several times already and the dub version. It reminds me the time where I recorded most episodes on my DVR and just watch it on repeat

You didn't discuss the arrival of the zero squad.. but, yeah, i kinda hate that part too.. it was too fast especially the scene when ichigo decided to come with them, then suddenly, they went up ahead going to the soul king's kingdom. I feel like the scene was cut...

In episode 13 when #1 started playing, every hair on my body stood on end. I read the manga when bleach ended all those years back, and despite knowing what was coming....I got chills

Ichigo as a character is much more interesting than most Shonen protagonist(s). There is a particular subtly to his character, and Kubo is *not* given nearly enough credit for his writing. Kubo does not spell everything out to you and has confidence in the ability of his audience to infer on particular aspects of the story, themes, and characters. Bleach is very consistent in its overall throughline, in almost every regard.

Of all the channels that talk Bleach. I like yours best.

Ichibe dub voice was not what I expected he sounds like someone who's been smoking for the past 12 year that being said I kinda like and want to see how he develops.

I'm honestly pissed at the lack of anime. They should do the whole series. I'll admit hearing bankai again was fucking grandiose; the finishing touch to the beginning of the end.

It's a fucking masterpiece 👏 just finshed it today and just..........😢 I waited until all the episodes were out to get Hulu and I really just want to go back and watch all of them again. I consumed it in one day and probably gona rewatch this weekend.

Bleach was a fun anime. It was sad that it got screwed over by circumstances in my opinion. Even the manga got screwed too. I enjoyed Bleach to an extent, but it made a comeback. The third of the big three made a comeback in the most glorious fashion.
