Appreciate the massive amounts of support on this video and all of my Bleach videos I've put out. I'm trying to read and respond to as many comments as I can but they are coming in very quickly. 12:15 Back in the original run, Aizen blatantly explains that "hax"-abilities won't work, if your target's reiatsu is beyond your ability to overwhelm it. He does so while shruging Soi Fon's shikai "double-tap" ability as example. So "i imagine yo ass ded" or repeating the "bones but cookies" just won't work.

imagining something is very different than just thinking it, too. i would bet 100% that having a clear picture is required and after what kenpachi was doing to him, a clear picture of kenpachi being dead was probably not possible.

Nah keep Aizen only with Shikai, thats the unique and interesting part. Bankai would be boring.

I've enjoyed every single moment of TYBW so far. But as someone who read the manga after finishing the anime 10 years ago, the best is yet to come. And I REALLY can't wait to see some of it.

It wasn't that much issues, more that they changed the fights from how they went in the manga and added the Anime only scenes pretty close to release. That's why we got a "filler" episode that shows everything that happened so far shortly before. Afaik the fight was gonna play along like the Manga and actually end at the end of the episode. What we now have is that the fight is half done (because obviously Yhwach isn't gonna be defeated by this) and is gonna end in the next part. Bc they couldn't add that much more new stuff they decided to add the 4 minutes of Kon talking at the end.

@@nicholasbenson1639 haven't you noticed the final ep was cut like 5 mins short? You don't end an ep on 17th minute of its run to fill the rest of the time with Kon dialogue. Seems like they haven't finished the rest, and, you know, at least it's better than putting up something half-done, so I'm glad they did. But I thought it was just obvious. Plus there were early leaks that kind pointed to where the ep was supposed to end, but was cut short and you know, it just coincides with those 5 mins we didn't get. But well, I say it's still fine and I'm still I diehard fan of Bleach, I say they still did a marvellous job with the second season. Just a little bit of shame we didn't get the banger ending of the season we could have got, but it was still great. And a new bankai!

I know I couldn't have been the only man that shed a tear with iba carrying his captain as he became a dog as he's questioning himself internally as if they're so close that his lieutenant could read his mind s*** hit different

The biggest theme of TYBW, at least from what I can tell, is pride being your downfall. It's what caused Byakuya to lose as he used Bankai even when he was warned not to, it's what killed Yamamoto who let his guard down after seemingly killing the Ywach clone, and it's what killed Rose who told Superstar his move before killing him. It's an interesting and unique lesson for these characters ;cause the captains are all extremely prideful and may be forced to adapt in order to win

Mask de Masculine is by far one of the most entertaining character in Bleach & anime. His personality, design, ablities, fighting style & voice actor is amazing. 👍

It's pretty refreshing to see a recap/review like this from someone who hasn't read the manga. I'm so used to discussing things with the knowledge of what's gonna happen ahead of time. I'm a bit jealous of the anime watchers getting to see this version of Squad 0 instead of the rather pathetic showcase we had in the manga. Senjumaru is INSANE.

What's funny is that gremmy's imagination was his downfall here, part of why he lost, among other reasons of course, is that he imagined kenpachi stronger than kenpachi was at that point. Even Kenpachi noticed that: "you turned me into a monster in your own head, what a fool" Gremmy made this a fight he couldn't win through his own imagination.

He could grasp and emulate the power that Kenpachi, at least seemingly, had, but the moment the he questioned even the possibility of all of that power being contained in a single body, he destroyed himself.

A similar thing hapoens in the stormlight archive series. Trying to avoid spoilers, so don't clairify please. A group of powerful beings get resurrected, many have earned titles describing some aspect. One ends up facing the same opponent, vowing that it will return and kill him. To which the opponent replies, paraphrased: I've broken your name, you are not what you were, and you will not be comming back.

The only two things I didn't like about this is: They excluded everyone's reactions to Gremmy's meteor which really shows just how much of a threat he is and why everyone including top tier Quincy are scared of him. 2. (This part is no faulty of the anime's because the same happens in the manga) The Vizard disease that they have to reveal their powers and then get countered. It is frustrating because they are supposed to be very powerful and also a great counter to Quincy with their hollowfication but they always end up embarrassing themselves.

If ever there was a time to ignore protocol to ensure survival it would be at that moment. At the very least they should have shown them attempting to go hollow but being blitz before doing so. So they would not look like complete incompetent idiots.

Senjumaru was the only member of the zero sqaud in the manga that did absalutly nothing. Literally is just there and dies in the manga. The fact that the anime lets her fight uryu and gerard and be one of the few zero squad members to show off their bankai is both awesome and hilarious for me.

Notice how yachiro pops up at the most random of places, the first being the bloody battle field to touch the sword kenpachi is using, the zanpakto that is starting to conform to his will and spiritual pressure. Normally, a zanpakto will start manifesting itself to its wielder long before reaching kenpachis level of spiritual pressure; so in an ironic twist, kenpachi names his zanpakto. But when she tells him her true name, her manifestation returns to where it belongs. At least, that's my theory, had it since the 3rd or 4th arc.

My brother in christ you are fucking HILARIOUS with all the editing and commentary LMAOO. But in all seriousness, this part of TYBW was insane. Can't wait to see what's to come!!

Shinji's bankai (Sakashima Yokoshima Happo Fusagari) is also anime only part, cause the bankai is not in the original manga. It is only revealed in the light novel Can't Fear Your Own World.

As a long time Bleach fan I've been absolutely loving everything that we've received this last year. The end of cour two was magnificent in every way and couldn't be more pleased.

No, he definitely could’ve. The Visionary is a reality warping ability and isn’t tied to Reiatsu at all. The reason why he died when copying his strength is because he didn’t imagine a body that could handle it. *Spoilers* And we see later on that not even Zaraki himself could handle his Bankai, so there’s further evidence

@@nailinthefashion Zaraki even stated that the monster in his head was what killed him, Gremmy saw him as a legitimate anomaly that can’t be scaled by normal means in strength, and so him trying to reach such strength is basically impossible. He even said that he managed to copy his power but didn’t make a body to withstand it. Because not even Zaraki himself could, and whatever Gremmy imagined him to be was probably way stronger.

@@shrimpman. the whole point to me was that Zaraki's limit can't be imagined, and if you do it's like trying to fill a cup with a waterfall so you're better off incompacitating him than destroying him. He's a great mirror to Kurotsuchi, who doesn't try to match someone's power but actually analyzes a solution. If Gremmy had that same wisdom the fight would have been over by just injecting a complex enough poison, to corrupt one's will is more powerful than any meteor. But I remember him saying he's never had to test his limits or sumn like that, so I suppose half of ignorance is apathy, but I don't think he'd even have a great sparring partner

Your statement of him being unable to due to a “Reiatsu gap” makes no sense because 1. His power isn’t Reiatsu based but straight up reality manipulation, he could imagine Zaraki powerless if he wanted to and would only be beaten by Yhwach due to dominion over all powers the Sternritter have, he’s even locked up because he doesn’t give a shit about anyone and everyone fears him (all coming from CFYOW) 2. He could literally just give himself Reiatsu that equals or surpasses Zaraki’s, and once again he didn’t wanna do that because that’s just buffing him beyond Zaraki’s capabilities instead of beating him with his own current ones, making his objective moot

I loved it. I do wish some of the fights lasted a tad bit longer but understand they have only so much. So I'm glad I got to see some anime only scenes it was dope af

Gremmy had to be kinda dumb for his ability to not accidentally kill himself. Anything he imagines comes true that includes his own death which we almost see happen. If anyone smarter used it they'd be dead in minutes

No one was stupid enough to fight gremmy before, so when kenpachi is still swinging at him after showcasing his power, gremmy starts to feel the thrilling of battle for the first time, enjoying himself so much that ending the fight with turning kempachi's bones into cookies or imagining him disappearing would have been anti climatic for him.

Damn i haven't laughed this much in so long. Great vid bro and tbh i wasnt gonna watch this all the way to the end but damn shit waaay too funny i just had to.

I was really sad that ichigo didnt have much screentime in part 2. Since i didnt read the mange, i was expecting him to destroy some quincies.

My favorite choice from yhwach was that he has all his sternritter invade in one group. If they encountered shinji accidentally then that's 90% of the fighting force gone. He has ALMIGHTY he DEFINITELY SAW SHINJIS BANKAI in one of those infinite futures

That was a additional scene both th bankai which was only present in novels and the sternritters in group i kinda didnt like that scene it felt childish

It wasn't really said outright but Yachiru was Kenpachi's Zanpakuto. She is never seen again once he releases his shikai.

I was so hyped i went back and restarted from season 1 watched all the way up to episode 366 and now waiting for last few episode to be dubbed

dAMN!. I just watched this video and ABSOLUTLEY LOVED IT. Definitely liked the vid. I was cracking up throughout. Now I am unsure to subscribe mainly because I dont know if this is the only video that I will like on your channel, the reason been that, I had watched a few excellent videos from my YT suggestions of different channels(anime-related) thinking I might get the same level of quality or even better on their respective channels. However, when i checked other videos on those suggested channels, there isn't any video better than what drew me to subscribe. PS: I just found 3 more exciting videos on the channel and it seems there may be more, hence I subbed

Shinjis bankai is also anime only, and Kubo has made a slight reveal about cour 3 that the first 6 or so episodes will only animate about 2 MANGA chapters per episode, and the rest of the time alotted for those episodes will be filled with additional anime only content added bby Kubo himself.

I too was glad to see the return of the lesser Arancars.

The fight between Gremmy and Kenpachi. I think most of the audience missed the part how often Gremmy imagine that Kenpachi is indeed strong. He said it himself "You are really strong, just like I imagining it". Means Gremmy himself make Kenpachi strong.

Great video except for one thing. While it should have been shown in the anime, Gremmy can't simply imagine Zaraki dead and then poof, he dies... I always used to think:" Well hey, Gremmy made Yachiru's bones into cookies... He could have just imagined that all of Zaraki's organs exploded at the same time." No, in Spirits Are Forever With You, Azashiro Kenpachi (the 8th Kenpachi), his Bankai allowed him to fuse with anything; even the very air. Bro tried to fuse with Zaraki and crush his organs and was literally unable to do so because Zaraki's sheer reiatsu reinforced his body and made the task impossible. There was nothing Gremmy could have imagined doing to Zaraki's physical body to cause him any damage. "Why not throw him into a black hole? Or the sun?" Dangai Ichigo back-handed Aizen's Black Coffin with was literally a black hole and we had already seen the whole sun thing done with Yamamoto; didn't work out for him and I doubt it would have worked any better for Gremmy.

Yeah and we see that Gremmy's power isn't just limitless. He needs two versions to summon the meteor and 8 to summon a pocket galaxy. So yes, it is the power of imagination, but still with some caveats.

People dont get it. A battle between bleach characters is a battle between spirit pressure/energy. Kenpachi has more than gemmy by far.

Might be a hot take, but I've heard rumors that Kubo wants to expand a lot, and I kind of hope one of those revisions is Ichigo's "True Bankai" as I didn't like the way it was presented. I LOVED the "Bankai" he used in his "Horn of Salvation" form, however brief it was, but I was disappointed when it was revealed that It was just an elaborate sheathe, and his True Bankai's appearance was just his first Zangetsu, but no handle cloth. I've seen one revision of note, I think, which was Kenpachi splitting the meteor, I don't think the scene where Kenpachi breifly fades into his younger self was present in the manga. Would also love to learn more about the "special" sternritters like Gerard and how he has a piece of the Soul King, and hope it get elaborated on more! For those not in the know of what happened to the Manga, the ending was rushed due to dropping performance so Kubo had to sort of rush the ending and I believe even stated he wanted to do more, and further explain more about the new character he introduced, but simply didn't have time. Which is kinda where we see more world building with CFYOW.

actually kubo wanted to add the some abilities in the manga but he wrote a light novel in which he put some other abilities for charcters so tybw is based on the light novel not the manga

methinks kubo wanted to give the sternritter that stayed on soil and not moved to soul palace with greg more depth, but because of his fucked up health at the time of serializing tybw, he figured that greg not caring for them would also fit the narrative.. so yeah

That Kenpachi fight made me feel so many wonderful things

exposition on gremmy: the source material reveals that he had spent most of his life locked in a cage by yhwach. that would explain his lack of imagination.

Her bankai is not exactly kill you instantly, more towards forcing your fate to follow whatever she design it to be and you wont realize until the end.

I like the CGI on Dangai Jouoe(?) For the same reason I like the CGI in danmachi it looks unsettling and that's a good thing

Btw in the manga when ichigo meets "zangetsu" for the first time his name is splashed with ink foreshadowing ichibei's zanpakto. Because his name was erased he used zangetsu as his name

im glad that bleach is ending .. the moment the opponent of kenpachi revealed his powers .. i rolled my eyes so hard i saw the original bleach run. kubo basically ran out of ways for bleach's power scaling to make sense.. so after a power is explained to their opponents .. the opponent just counters it in a very effective way.
