@@destinhinds3496 Im as big of a Badger fan as they come but lets be real here. Taylor was an amazing back and arguably one of the best in cfb history. Hes 6th all time in rushing yards while only playing 3 seasons but Sanders '88 season is the greatest individual season in cfb history. He rushed for 300+ yards 4 times in '88 and 154 yards and 2 TDs was his worst game that year. His yards record and TD record still stands today and he only played 11 games that season. He also returned punts and kicks.

Darren Mcfadden , SEC Freshman of the year, ESPN newcomer of the year, SEC Offensive player of the year twice, first sophomore ever to win the Doak walker award, only second player ever to win Doak walker twice, Heisman runner up 2 straight years and should have won both years. Jim Brown Trophy, Walter camp award, 1st team all american 2 straight years, and the list goes on.....just imagine had he been on Alabama's team!!! Probably 3,000 yards in one year! Mcfadden did it at Arkansas, remember that, not near the team nor talent surrounding him as other top SEC programs, yet he still crushed the toughest defenses in college football week in and week out for 3 years. People talk about how fast he was, but look at the film, he ran over and destroyed linebackers in the SEC!

Johnathan Taylor has to be in the conversation with college footballs all time greats. He's 6th all time in rushing yards only 951 yards behind Dayne and Taylor only played 3 seasons. 1,977 yards and 13 TDs was his worst season at WI but that season he just happened to set the all time freshman rushing yards record. He would've shattered the all time rushing record if he returned for his senior year.

Absolutely. He was very similar to a back we had at Washington, Corey Dillon in the mid 1990s. He only played one season but smashed all of Napoleon Kaufman's single season records. Then he had off the field issues similar to Phillips and left. But he has an excellent NFL career and got a SB ring with New England. Damn I wish he would have stayed for at least 3 years. He was amazing. And Marcus Dupree too, only one season, but showed upper echelon talent. Very sad, what could have been for both of these kids.

I've got additional questions, how can you have LenDale White but no O.J. Simpson?,No Thurman Thomas, he was so good Barry was the kick returner and backup for 3 years. And as much as I hate Notre Dame, no Allen Pinkett? And finally need more Dickerson highlights, and did anybody notice how many Longhorns? They were a running back factory for so long.

I forgot about Thermal Thomas. Good call. And get in line if you wanna complain about Simpson not on the list. Obvious oversight.

You missed a CFB Hall of Famer, who rushed for TWO 2000 yard seasons. 2nd in the Heisman. Out rushed Eddie George in the same season.
