fans of off-road sporting will already know about the camel trophy. because the camel trophy is the most famous and one of the first off-roading events to exist. it was a colabertion between camel and later land rover. the whole event was about advertising the camel cigarettes and land rovers as outdoor and badass. unfortunately the camel trophy no longer exists but the stories of the adventures will live on forever.

They sold a “defender trophy” version of the new defender! Which came with a chance to compete in some sort of event but I can’t recall seeing much about it. I believe the “defender trophy” defender 90 that was for sale at my local dealer is still there on the lot. They’re stupid expensive.

I remember seeing this so many times in the old NATIONAL GEOGRAHIC magazines.
So monotone.. Couldn’t even make it past the first minute
