Glad you enjoyed it. I’m hoping you meant that you think I’m an expert at crashing, cause that’s definitely true on the batbike! 😂 Al wears force field armour which I also have for the bottom half if I’m riding enduro type stuff, but on this trip I had some Xion armour on 👍🏻

Amazing video (to borrow the buzz word from the Morocco trip)! I like your style, the humour and the total honesty of how things can be in reality :-) Great mix of people, driving, places. Now I have binged almost all you have published and I feel the abstinence could sneek upon me soon.... Looking forward to more!!! Question: is it a preferred/recommended direction on these narrow TET trails? I am just imageing what could happen if someone came fast in the opposite direction....?

Hey Marius. Glad you enjoyed the videos! Yeah - I always try to capture it how it happened. There isn’t a direction on the trails, you just have to be aware someone may be coming the opposite way. I’ve had it happen a few times but everyone tends to ride at a speed they can easily stop and wave each other by. Oooh there’s more to come this year, don’t you worry. COVID hampered a few plans but they’re still ready to go when we’re allowed out!

As always Ollie... an epic video and excellent bit of editing!!! I am however slightly jealous and just want to jump on my bike and ride the GWT now 🙁. Good to see “Skinny Alan” out and about too 😂

It’s called Hell Lane. Well it’s actually called something else I think but it’s right next to Hell Lane anyway so that should help you find it 👍🏻

Nice video looks an interesting trail, but could be more fun on smaller bikes. Pleased you found your Garmin, a bit expensive to loose. I have a security strap on mine for that reason, and it works!!

Yeah, I think I should probably do that. I also lost my Garmin Fenix watch whilst riding in Wales once. I don’t have much luck 😂

Great video, I really enjoyed it! I noticed that you said you got petrol in your helmet and as most helmets are lined with polystyrene, it might be worth taking the outer liner out and having a check of the polystyrene layer as petrol pretty much instantly dissolves polystyrene. (Don't ask how I know.) :-)

Ha, the A390 between Gulworthy and Tavistock. There’s a twisty bit of road - the track basically straight-lines it. Uphill is toward Gulworthy.

I think you’d be fine bud as long as you’re ok off-road. There are bits to avoid (like Devil’s Steps which would just be hard work) but we probably just made it look hard! 😂 Make sure you go riding with a mate to help you out though, pack light, and have some good tyres!

I am sensing a trend towards smaller lighter weight adventure bikes for the very reasons you mentioned. What you loose in comfort and carrying capacity you gain in man-handleability. I am wondering how I will get on as a novice on a 125 Varadero!😳
